After going through several items and reading reviews I settled on trying this one as so many reviews said it was easy to put on, similar items all have elastic around them and have to be stretched over the seat which I honestly don't have time for when I have a 2 yr old who isn't going to stand around and wait for me to fuss with a car seat. This is definitely easy to out on, the top has a pocket that goes over the top of the seat to make sure it stays on and then you just lay the rest over the seat. It has spared us from a lot of tears as everytime we come back out to the car it has kept the seat cool enough for my daughter to sit in right away without any problems. It covers the whole seat, it's not a super thick material and is easily folded up to be stored in the seat pocket or wherever. It's similar material to what the windshield covers are made out of so it seems durable enough and if it got dirty you could just wipe it down. It definitely does it's job and I recommend it to anyone else in areas that are incredibly hot.

Reeks off stinky foul odour. Maybe some chemical off gassing? Definitely not ready to use. It's currently airing out in the clothesline sharing its aroma to the neighbours. I'm very hesitant to use it on my baby car seat (harmful to health?). Not sure how this one got a high star rating (which made me buy it). Too bad I threw away the packaging otherwise I would have returned and asked for a refund. Highly likely to just get binned. Wasted money. Tsk tsk.

Ok. So this is not the prettiest item. It is flat without any elastics around it like the ‘prettier’ ones but, that makes it incredibly easy to slide back on while holding a squirming 15 month old. It also allows my car seat to breathe while being covered. We are in South Carolina- it is incredibly sunny and hot. I hated putting the baby in the seat with hot fabric and even hotter clips. This has kept her car seat cool, even in this recent heat wave!
