Installed it as per instructions. It obviously does not cover even a 1.5 ton AC properly. Even so I first ensured the hall area had a high aqi. I switched off all other purifiers. We started at 180 aqi. After two hours of running on high fan mode it came down to only 100 aqi and pm2.5 reading was 49. When I use my air purifiers within twenty minutes my fall area reaches 10-30 aqi. I also took the aqi monitor to the AC to see the reading and it barely changed whereas when I keep it n xt to my purifier the reading goes to 1-2 showing that the filter is working very well. I can't believe this is being marketed like it actually works when it doesn't!

The Airth AC air purifier doesn’t fit properly on my AC. It leaves noticeable gaps that allow unfiltered air to pass through, reducing its overall purification efficiency. I even had to add extra packing material to seal those gaps. The airflow also reduces significantly after installation, which could put extra load on the AC’s fan and potentially increase the electricity bill. However, considering its price, just a fraction of what full standalone air purifiers cost, it does a decent job. If you’re on a tight budget, it’s a workable solution. But if you don’t have budget constraints, I would recommend going for a dedicated standalone air purifier instead.
