Great for cleaning and conditioning leather!
Fantastic product. I would recommend letting the leather cleaner dry for 24hrs before using the conditioner. I’ve used the product several times and love it!

Good set for soft, supple, shiny leather.
I use a lot of leather and wanted a cleaner and conditioner that does not change the color of my leathers as many good conditioners do. So I ordered this to try this set. I tried it on some oil-tanned leather and a pair of boots which are veg-tanned leather. The cleaner is watery with a mild pleasant fragrance which soon disappears. When sprayed on both types of leather, it lifted the grime but also some of the dye, more from the oil-tanned leather and very lightly from the veg-tanned leather. It did not change the color of either type of leather. I allowed the leathers to dry and then used the conditioner. This is an oily liquid that I rubbed onto the leather. It darkened the color of both leathers slightly. The conditioner left an oily feel and shine on both leathers and I kept them aside for a while. The oily feel and appearance remained in patches on the veg-tanned leather. I wiped it off and after that, the leather had a shine to it that would not buff off. The oil-tanned leather did not turn shiny once I buffed it in a similar way. It is slightly darker though. Both leathers feel soft and supple. This set is especially good for anyone who wants their leather to be shiny.

Nice Shoe Care Products
Has taken good care of my Thursday Captain boots and my Johnston and Murphy Melton oxfords. Cleans salt stains well. New to actually taking care of my shoes and this kit has been a big help.

Nice scent, natural and good basic leather cleaner and conditioner
Clean smelling, natural ingredients and a good choice for lighter cleaning. The conditioner can be reapplied to create a strong and protective (not sticky) finish.

It works!
This review is for the COBBLER'S CHOICE Leather Cleaner & Conditioner Duo. So I have tons of life long experience with high quality leather goods from gear for dogs & horses, boots, coats, purses, backpacks, furniture.... and of course I have my favorite brand of leather cleaner and conditioner. But when this came up on offer I thought I would grab it and try it out. So these come as a nice bottled set and are nicely boxed, so ready to wrap and give as a gift if you like. They're each 6 ounce size bottles. I'm used to buying my cleaner/conditioner in much bigger quantities LOL. But for a trial size of these it's ok, it's enough to use on multiple items to get a good feel for how it works. So I used this on my big guys years old thick 2 inch wide leather collar that has a handle on it. The collar is just as good today as the day we got it except of course after years of constant use the color is looking a bit drab. For those whom do not know, I'm handicapped. He wears the collar 24/7 as he's my service dog and it's the most minimal gear I can have on him if I need him to help me walk, or get up if I fall..... while we're at home. So the collar was originally a russet color, which is varying shades of reddish brown color that occurs naturally from the tanning process, it's not colored after. In fact before I got this I had ordered some black leather dye of my favorite label to recolor the collar so it would look better, I just had not gotten around to doing it yet. I used this cleaner and it really didn't remove much dirt. There really was not that much dirt on the collar, it's not like my big guy rolls in the mud. But it was mostly dirty on the underside that is against his neck from his own body oils... and it did remove some dirt/oils from there. I had also taken one of my brushes and brushed it first to remove as much as possible, so maybe I should not have. It's just when your used to a routine when it comes to the cleaning/conditioning you don't think about it, you just do it LOL. So then I conditioned it with small amounts on all sides several times allowing it to sit and dry good between each. It all absorbed good, it does darken the color some but nothing too drastic, it's just more like it was when it was new with this type of leather. Now that may be different on a leather with a different tanning/finish/coloring process or on a different type such as reptile/snake.... This collar is full thickness cowhide. I did not notice a huge amount of shine afterwards, there is some but not glaring shine. Again this may be different results depending on what it's used on. So his collar now looks good enough I do not have to color it black, but I'm probably going to still as it's on the very last hole. The seller I ordered it from originally makes top quality gear, they are a big name company but they also sell here on Amazon. I love their gear, I trust their gear, they can custom make me a bigger collar for him, but.... they are back ordered for at least 6 months! So I ordered a black collar that is just a straight collar without a handle and I'm going to use it to size this one bigger until I can get the custom made one. So hence why I was going to color the one with the handle black! LOL Also I do not have any old really neglected dried out leather goods to try this on as I take care of my stuff. LOL. If I find something cheap a a yard sale or thrift store I'll grab it and try this set on it. So overall I have to say I like this set. I'll be very interested to try it on some leather shoes, boots, purses, wallets.... when I have a need to and I'll update if needed then too. I do have to say you want to use quality leather cleaner/conditioner on your items, what you use really does matter in the long run. As much as I like this set and do think it's a good quality to use when I stack it VS the regular price $28.00 per the listing I think it's high for the small 6 ounce bottles. One of my favorite brand's products to use is sold here on Amazon in a sprayer 2 bottle set cleaner/conditioner 16.9 oz size each bottle for regular price $31.48 per the listing, it's on sale right now for $26.76. Again it's a brand I know well, I trust it, I have used it for decades on a wide range of genuine leather goods... I don't know if I am permitted to say it in my review here? I'll give you a hint, it begins with an L and ends with an L and it has an X in the middle. LOL. So just have a good look through the listings and decide which is best for your needs. As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.
