For light duty multipurpose use, this is a pretty good kit. I used it to put up some string lights and it was easy to manage and tighten with the turnbuckles and rings. They're not particularly heavy duty so wouldn't count on it alone. The attachments rely heavily on the vinyl coating to hold things in place, but I do not anticipate the kit having any problem keeping something like string lights up. I would be a little wary of using it for something that'll have a lot of force like a solar sail though.

I used this kit to hang curtains on my screened in porch, and it did the job really well. The vinyl‑coated stainless steel cable looked clean against the frame, the included turnbuckles and thimbles made setup easy, and the whole 200 ft roll means I’ve got plenty left for future projects. Everything feels sturdy and weather-resistant thanks to the 304 stainless build, and the variety of accessories was a nice bonus—no mid-project runs to Home Depot required. Why it's 4 stars and not 5: It’s great for light decorative jobs, but not intended for heavy-load or structural use. Still, absolutely solid for what I needed. Great kit overall—plenty of cable, good hardware selection, and it makes my porch look a little fancier.

This is a really nice general assortment of cable and misc. component fixtures. In truth, some of the components, like the plastic stakes, aren't worth even considering for any application, but the other parts and pieces will help complete small, do it yourself style jobs. For myself, I needed the components the next day to modify a few wildlife relocation traps so I was pressed for time. The cable worked really well, the stainless eyelets are great and even the carabiner will be very helpful in attaching quick disconnect chain leads. Overall, this is will prove very hand to have around the shop and there is no doubt I'll be using bits and pieces for the occasional odd job.

I found this to be a great starter set to really see which pieces you will use the most. Works great securing a tarp to a portable shed ends since it wont deteriorate like bungees or rope.

Kit has all I needed and is of good quality. Used in my garden. If bought individually in a hardware store it would cost a lot! Price to value is very good.
