This product is amazing for hair damaged by bleach. I had my hair highlighted by a different cheaper stylist and she fried my hair. Obviously, I not going back to her, Hairstory saved my hair, It added moisture and smoothed out my damage hair. I now have to use it as a conditioner after shampooing. If your hair is not damaged, I do not recommend using it.

I was suddenly shocked to find my hair, that I usually enjoy, was dull and lifeless. My hair gal was at a loss also. I was going through some very stressful times about then and she suggested it could be that. I then saw an ad for this NEW WASH and thought it might help. That was about 4 months ago, and my hair has steadily returned to 'my hair' only better. I do alter the instructions a little...... I add a little volume shampoo to the crown of my head before adding the New Wash. Then after massaging it all in while thick, I then add more water and finish massaging it into all areas. After rinsing I follow it up with some Aveda Pure Abundance creme conditioner. That is the perfect routine for me. Most of us don't adore fresh clean hair because it’s just sort of dry and fluffy. This New Wash almost skips that stage and by day 2 my hair has body, shine, and texture, separating enough to show the layers. It has slightly helped a recent onset of psoriasis for which I am grateful. New Wash is expensive. probably could work great using less. But for now, I am thrilled that I love my hair again and my hairdresser is amazed too. We went from scared to lighten it due to its poor health and fragile condition to being back to my best blonde self and happy again.

My wife discovered this insanely expensive hair product but I have to say, we no longer use anything else. It is surprisingly good at keeping your hair clean and healthy. No need for conditioner. As I noted, my only complaint is that our kids inheritance is shrinking fast.

I went to a curl specialist and she recommended this product. First thing to know: there is absolutely zero foam. It even says that right on the bottle, but I didn’t realize foam had become a problem in the world-honestly, I can’t keep up with all the new rules. That being said, I actually like that it’s a shampoo and conditioner in one. I have very curly hair, and this really does leave it soft, moisturized, and manageable. The downside is the price. Since it doesn’t foam up, you need to use more product than a traditional shampoo, and it’s definitely on the expensive side. I love how it works, but I’m not sure if my wallet will let me keep it in my routine long-term.

Game changer! I have been looking for the perfect cleansing conditioner for my thick naturally curly hair that I straighten for years! This product does all that it claims to do. It does take a long time to rinse out fully but my hair is so soft and shiny, so that extra time spent rinsing is well worth it!

I bought this because a friend (with straight hair) recommended it. She said it made her hair feel fantastic. I ordered it even though it’s quite expense and was hopeful. But this is definitely not meant for curly hair that does not get washed as often as straight hair. I ended up having to use my regular shampoo and conditioner after attempting to use this because my hair was such a hot mess. I used it once and now the bag (very small for a big price) is just sitting on a shelf.

My go-to. I use Hairstory all the time. This goes in my suitcase immediately too! I never use a blow dryer and have wavy, thick hair - Hairstory is perfect for my scalp and hair.

I have long (just below the brastrap) thick hair.First Wash 2/20:I don't think I'm going to like it. It felt silky as I first started rinsing then It felt like I couldn't get the product out of my hair and it's going to weigh down my hair. Now that my hair is still wet, my hair is not as easily brushed as shown in the video. First Day after first wash 2/21:My hair is still frizzy looking, as usual but, it's not weighed down. It feels clean an is easy to brush. I'm not sure I like the smell. Good thing the smell is subtle, I suppose. Day 5 2/25:Hair smells like 5 days of not being washed but, still looks great. Not oily or dirty looking. I washed at night and it was the same feeling as the first wash. I'm really not fond of the smell either. It's close to a patchouli or apothecary smell. I do wish it had a nicer smell and that the smell lasted as long as the clean looking and feeling hair does. I'm sure I could go longer without a wash if my hair smelled great or at least clean. For that reason alone, I remove 2 stars because the point they make of saving money by not having to wash is untrue if your hair smells dirty. Going 3 days even started to smell naturally dirty. I only washed because of the smell so, I'm a bit torn on this product.

Game changer - after trying EVERY conditioner and serum out there this is the absolute best. My coarse dry hair is transformed and much more manageable. And you only need this one product.

Ich habe sehr empfindliche Kopfhaut und meine Haare werden hormonell bedingt immer dünner. Heute habe ich zum ersten Mal New Wash (Rich) benutzt und es fühlt sich toll an. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass die Kopfhaut regelrecht aufatmet. Ich habe weiches Haar, ohne eine Spülung benutzt zu haben. Ich werde New Wash weiter benutzen und hoffe, dass meine Haare (Haarausfall) sich wieder erholen und nachwachsen. Die Verpackung verspricht das jedenfalls. Etwas ungewohnt ist es, dass das Mittel nicht schäumt. Aber gereinigt fühlen sich Haar und Kopfhaut trotzdem an. Bis jetzt 5 Sterne.

I absolutely LOVE this for my hair. This is the first time in my life I can let my hair dry naturally and it looks fantastic! I purchased this months ago and still have more then half left. Really brings out my curl and NO FRIZZ! So happy thank you!!
