Great product
We have powder coated brown fences and gates. We live in South Florida exposed to the salt and extreme heat . Over the past few years we noticed the fence and gate lost there luster . We applied Everbrite and they look like brand new. I was amazed at the results. Cannot be happier !!!

Copper still looks brand new after 8 months
Waited 8 months to write this review purposely so it could be as accurate as possible. It has been exposed to snow, sleet, rain, hail, subzero temps and 100+ degree in direct sunlight most of the day. Used this to seal the copper on a brand new cupola on my garage. Cleaned copper with acetone to remove any oils rolled on 3 good coats and the copper still looks like the day I did it. Stuff definitely works. Make sure you do it on a calm no wind day or inside your garage if you can move your project inside, stuff gets really sticky as it’s drying and if anything blows onto it it’ll stick. Was worried I wasn’t going to have enough to even do 2 coats but a little bit goes a long way. I still have left over even after the 3 coats on the cupola and also did 3 coats on the flashing around my chimney and that still looks brand new.

Good stuff, but hard to work with...
Overall the results are good, but I had a hard time getting a really smooth finish. It's self leveling, so make sure you are working on a perfectly flat surface. But I still got some streakiness where it didn't quite level itself, especially with a brush. So i tried a foam roller, but then I got some air bubbles . Working on a brass mail box was extra hard , because it had curved surfaces. So it would run no matter how it was positioned. It has an extremely strong strong odor. Overall its very glossy and while not perfect it has a nice shine. one helpful tip they gave was to neutralize any acids from cleaning using baking soda. Otherwise it may still tarnish under the coating. So far No tarnishing yet, though its only been a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will be worth the effort and money

Great sealer for your brass
This stuff is amazing! Really protects your brass. We use it on hand hammered brass ceiling tiles & also use it on anything brass. Adds a layer of depth to the finish as well! Also retards tarnish. Haven’t tried it on copper yet.

Great product
I bought Everbrite to refresh my 20 year-old window frames and my screen door. They’re all bronze colored and the product worked beautifully brought the color back made them shiny really happy with the product. Application was very easy.

Expensive, but the best for coating metal
I have a lot of cast-aluminum deck furniture that is now 13 years old. The SC sun eventually kills the finish. The furniture in the shaded, screened porch has retained its bronze finish, but the finish of pieces in the weather faded to the color and texture of charcoal briquettes. Replacing the furniture would have been thousands of dollars. I knew that painting the furniture would have been pretty easy, but it would not last a long time and would become dull and faded. Every other year, I would end up painting again. I cleaned the furniture and brushed Everbrite directly over the existing finish. Of course, it did not return the bronze color (Everbrite is clear) but it made the furniture a very attractive, very glossy black. It looks brand new. The pic I attached shows the first coat on a small table sitting beside a chair that had not been touched. The pic does not really do the product adequate justice. One coat got me about 90% of where I wanted to be. I could have stopped there, but I put two coats on every piece so that I would have a thicker and glossier surface Things you need to know: 1) the product seems to be a type of plastic that is dissolved in xylene. The xylene keeps the product about the consistency of maple syrup. As the xylene evaporates, the product hardens. 2) Xylene is extremely aromatic. If you don't have a place to work that is covered and well ventilated, this is not the product for you. I recommend natural ventilation as fans will reduce the working time which is already pretty fast. You want the product to have time to self-level to remove brush strokes. Also, as the product dries, there is a time that the finish is very sticky. You don't want fans blowing bugs or debris into the finish. 3) I know that no finish can stand up to continuous sun and weather for years and years. I can't tell you how long the product will last in the long term, but I am 100% sure that it is better than paint, poly, or anything else I could find. I have had it in the SC weather for a couple of months now and it looks just like it did when I applied the finish. The manufacturer says it has UV resistance, so only time will tell. 4) Lastly, a small point. Due to the viscosity, I recommend applying with a brush and letting it self-level. However, it gets very tacky pretty quickly. Spend the money and use only high quality brushes. The stickiness of the drying product will pull the bristles out of lower quality brushes and they will end up embedded in the finish. Good Luck!

Impressed
I used Everbright to coat a large piece of bare steel art that I keep indoors, just to inhibit rust over time and to damp dust it occasionally without it rusting. There is no perfect transparent coating for bare mild steel since there is no such thing as fully transparent primer, but this is the best perfectly clear coating for steel that I've found so far. It dried to the touch in about 30 minutes but cured S-L-O-W-L-Y, meaning the off-gas smell was powerful for several days as it fully hardened -- that's actually a good thing for adhesion & durability. In my experience, clear-coats that cure too fast are the first to crack, flake, bubble, or cause condensation rust over time. But unless your projects is small, you better have a garage or some dry place away from your living space to keep it while the coating cures. The smell is that intense. Two coats carefully applied two hours apart with a brush were all I needed to achieve a rich luster that brought out the depth of the steel. Gorgeous! Definitely worth the price if you're patient and a perfectionist about coating metals.

Works great, dries even with no streaks. Applied over a month ago and no sign of tarnishing on my copper cupola, still brite and shiny.

I used this on some barn steel. I wanted to save the rust and make it all look shiny and prevent it from rusting further. The product is easy to work with and it looks great. It has a wet look and and the rust pop.

Definitely brightened up the window frames more so on the north and west of the house where the sun has less chance to dull the color as for the east and south the frames were much more faded so the appearance had less improvement but is now protected. The product is very easy to apply.
