Great device, very happy with it!
What a neat gadget! I have bought and tried so many massage and neck therapy gadgets over the years. I must say, this is definitely up there in usefulness. It is very well designed, easy to use (not too much effort to use), and targets the tight knots on my neck area as well as feet and legs. It has two soft but firm balls that you can screw in to three slots (on each side) that gives you the ability to change the space between the two balls. It takes very little energy to use the device, so no straining to self massage. I highly recommend it. I am going to buy another one for my mom. She will love it too!

I Love This Thing!!
I’m thankful this is not expensive as I have broken 2 in one year, however, I will continue to buy it because the relief it brings is instant and lasting. I’ve had 3 neck surgeries and my muscles from my neck to shoulders get extremely tight. This device is a tremendous relief. Very thankful my chiropractor suggested!!

BEST $40 I've ever spent!
Any bad reviews for this thing I don't understand. In theory it's a good idea, and during use it's an even beter idea. Some people might find it too rough, it's definitely not meant for a light all around massage, this is targeted relief. The Acu-Masseur looks like an S&M torture device, but there is no doubt of what it is, it's so good at it's intended function. If it should for some reason break, as a couple of reviews describe, don't be discouraged, just return it and get another one. Mine is perfectly flexible in the middle and sturdy in the hand. I am a well-endowed woman and sit at a desk for the majority of my days. Despite conscious efforts to correct my posture, over time, my head slowly winds up in front of my neck. Pain! Lots of pain and tension. The Acu-Masseur looks like an S&M torture device, but there is no doubt of what it is, it is that good in it's intended function. It has basically rendered professional/expensive spa massages unnecessary. I have had it for one week and I have already noticed a marked improvement in my neck/shoulder tension and posture. This thing is like conducting your own personal shiatsu symphony. It's everything I want to happen in a professional massage that never does. I can't say enough about it! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Pros: Amazingly and Eye-Rollingly therapeutic, easy to use once you get the hang of it. No moving parts, just the joint in the middle that bends. Cons: None really if you don't count taking time to practice using it and it looking like a weird sexual device.

Great product but understand how it has gotten low reviews
I am a massage therapist and I bought this after trying one of my client's so I knew it worked and worked well. When I got mine the handle kept popping out on one side when I tried to use it and when I looked inside at the place where it screws in on the bendy part, the screw ridges were more shallow on the side that was popping out so I contacted the seller (Body Back Co.) and they immediately sent another one (Yay Body Back! Great customer service!). The new product was perfect and has held up with no problems. It is a great way to do self massage. If you look at the poor reviews they are people either saying it broke or they don't know how to use it properly. There are different types of massage and this product provides light to deep pressure (depending on how much pressure you put on the handles) on trigger points or tight fibrotic tissue. You can even change the angle of the handles to really dig into tight areas. You can also use it one handled to provide some light to moderate percussion. And you can even use it on arms or legs by using a leg to hold one handle. You are really only limited by your creativity. If you take the time to get used to using it, it is the best tool I have come across because it is more versatile than a thera-cane or similar products and because of leverage can get deeper than a back-nobber or trigger point ball. Since I am massaging others all day long, I have a very tight neck and shoulder area with lots of trigger points as well as tight forearms. It is even hard for most massage therapists to get in there and open it up but this product does what most MTs can't. This has quickly become my favorite self care product. I even recommend to my clients now.

Nice idea, but poor quality!
First, I’d like to say that I really wanted to love this product, especially since it initially felt like it worked and it was good. However, over just a week of use, the thing broke in half on me after normal use. When I emailed customer service about this and explained what happened, I was hoping they would offer a possible replacement. Instead, they responded by just giving me a refund and tips if I ever got another one. Although it was nice to have the refund, the more I thought about it again, I really wanted something for relief. So I thought maybe I should try it again because this may have just been a dud. When I went to check the pricing on it again, however, it was jacked up higher than it was when I got it the first time. So I reached out to customer service to see if they could do something for me to give it to me for the same price as before, and they said they couldn’t. So basically they are expecting me to pay out even more money than originally for something that I got that broke due to no fault of my own. Perhaps that’s why they just gave the refund right away without trying to talk to the customer first. Just thought you should know as a buyer to be careful. Ironically, after this happened, I went to check and see if I was the only one that happened to, and I noticed there were several others that had the same thing happen. So obviously, the product is not very durable. I’m glad I chose a different company to buy from, which was a few dollars cheaper and so far I have not had that issue with it! I will update you if I do. It was the Rosenice Neck Massager. Hope this helps you to choose wisely!

Release tension in hamstrings
It's always been difficult for me to release tension in my hamstrings until I found the AccuMassage. Finding the correct distance between the balls is key. I put one of the balls on the inside or outside of my leg and the other directly on the hamstring. The vise-like action gets to the tension and soreness like no other massager I've tried. Love it.

Kinda Gimmicky
It is okay for what it is and the price, but just like every pain relieve gimmick (for whatever part of the body) there's bound to be some snake oil promises made in the description. Does it temporarily relieve some issues sure, very temporarily... Does it cure herniated disks causing your arm to go numb or work out a clogged artery in your thigh causing pain, absolutely not. The only reason i somewhat like it is because I am a big strong boy and weak massages do not effect me or help pain. With this i can control the level I squeeze the massage-balls which can relieve some muscle tension. But it doesn't really help with my overall neck pain. More of a gimmick I decided to keep for the few times a year I pull a muscle and no one is around to help. I only recommend it for certain things, curing pain really isn't one of them like the product claims

Effective, but broke after 18 months
Recommended by my PT. Used it 3 - 4 times weekly for 3 minutes for 1.5 years before it broke. Weak point was the threaded posts, with one shearing off in a spectacular crack in mid-exercise. I expected flex section to wear out - disappointed in the failure point.
