Worked on my acid reflux
Much to my happiness, this product worked within a few days. I have terrible acid reflux and it's always worse at night. I have had no issues the last few nights. So happy I came across this and the reviews were so positive that it made me give it a try. Glad I did!!

Hard to Swallow, but very effective!
I've tried it all, but this stuff actually works. The pill itself is too hard to swallow especially for somebody that has trouble swallowing from the acid reflux. But every morning before my morning coffee, I poke a hole in one of these, empty it out into a shot glass, dilute with a shot worth of water and put it back. Then rinse it down a little. After 3 days of this routine my acid reflux is completely gone. I get the occasional orange burp throughout the day but this is a complete game changer. This isn't a reactive solution but something that taken in the morning will save you the rest of the day. For me once a morning does the trick. I might try a different brand, one with pills a size I can actually swallow, but the concept works. Might have saved my life!

At a loss for words
After reading many reviews and on many other brands of d-limonene I found that it might help, might not. I've been wanting to get off Nexium which I have depended on for years to keep my sanity and heartburn acid reflux in check. It didn't matter how pure I ate, I would suffer terrible if not on Nexium. I've learned of the impact Nexium can have on your liver and nutritional absorption, and the whole bacterial imbalance etc. I found myself zeroing in on D-Limonene. I was skeptical because I thought a citrus oil that strong could clean my counter tops, wouldn't it actually create heartburn or a reflux episode. And the stories I've heard from some who refluxed the Limonene up into their esophagus and the "burn of 100 suns" they had to deal with. But I also found it's HOW you take it that's important. I got the product in the mail and before reading up further and discovering the ladder. I took one the next morning after a protein shake, and skipped the Nexium the previous day. It was my B-day so I was heading to my son's house to hang out with them and grill. I notice a slight burn in the pit of my stomach. Something that you would feel if you realize your heartburn was coming back because you haven't been taking the PPI. I stopped by and picked up some tums just in case there needed to be an adjustment period. At my son's house he poured me a fine bourbon from a gift. I thought, mmmmmm. This might back fire. I sipped the bourbon and it momentarily slightly burned going down. I popped a tums because I didn't want to panic if it came full on. We much on guac appetizer and grilled bacon wrapped jalapeno! Nothing else happened. We went on and had more cocktails, then grilled filet mignon with asparagus. All was fine. I got home early evening. Snacked later on a few chips. All was quiet within. Interesting I thought, I've never gone a full day without being punished for skipping the Nexium. Next morning, felt fine. I walked across the street to the Crown Plaza hotel and ordered breakfast on the deck alongside the beach. Scrambled, hash browns, wheat toast and jam, bacon. No butter. It was great. Took a Limonene when I got home with a whole bottled water. Later had a few burps, no reflux with that. Went ahead and took my other scripts. It's been three days now, still closely monitoring. I've never gone this long without taking my nexium and not been in major agony. I'm walking around, scratching my head, what the heck just happened. I've been through all kinds of meds to address this prescription and otc, tums couldn't even touch it, zantac barely did. Now suddenly...crickets? What the heck. Some have reported that over time they were able to completely able to come off Limonene as well, nothing at all, cured. Huh!? Sorry so long, I thought I was at a loss for words. I hope you have the same results as I. Cheers!

Don't Take These If You Are On "ANY" Other Medications
I really wanted to like these. My experience is as follows.: They do work "for the most part" when taken alone, but I would caution anyone who is going to use these to make sure you are not on any other kind of medication first. I can't say this is true for everyone, but my experience has been bad. Instead of helping with my reflux, I have taken these several times and had a severe reaction of stomach pain and bloating to the point of where I've been up for hours hurting badly. I am sure this is because I have taken other meds with them. At first I just thought it was the usual reflux, but a really bad attack. Then I stopped taking these and usually my reflux was what I expected, and I took Pepcid and/or Tums. (I have also found that a teaspoon of honey is very helpful). Anyway, I had a small reflux attack last night. Probably a combination of a slice of pizza eaten fairly quickly and rushing around on a very busy stressful day. But there it was right as I was laying down to sleep. I had taken another medication just before bed, and then went down to the kitchen cabinet that has all my vitamins and meds to find something for the reflux and saw the orange pills., took it, and then about 20 minutes later I had the worst bloating and stomach pain, probably a combo of the meds and orange pills causing severe gas. I was up for an hour or so trying to get it under control, which is actually the "least" amount of time it hurt. Other times, I was in pain for 4-5 hours with nausea. I really thought it was the reflux coming on strong, but last night it was absolutely clear to me that it was a combo of these orange pills and the meds I took. As a side note, I mentioned honey. This and a pepcid helped clear up the pain within an hour. I did have to get up once again to take more honey, but for the most part it was a much easier night. Your mileage may vary, but I just need to put this out there. It could just be me, or it could cause the same effect to you if you take other medications or are sensitive to orange oils from the peels.

Did not work for me at all made things worse
I hate leaving bad reviews because I'm sure the product is just fine for the right people but I have been reading about this for a while and decided to give it a go for my reflux and oh my God nothing but severe burning after taking these for hours and hours. The only difference now is the burning now leaves an orange taste in my throat. I had such high hopes for this to knock down some of the acid reflux and absolutely devastatingly worse. Again, I hate to say anything bad about any product that isn't specifically total BS and I'm sure in certain circumstances this product works fine but definitely not for me
