This gorgeous green leather notebook was the first one I bought from this company, but I’ve since bought another one in a different size and color and intend to buy more!!! This was a special project for me, so I needed a good leather I could paint that would last me a long time and I’m so happy with this one and confident that it will last for years to come! I like the spacing of the lines (& I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to note paper lol). The strap is really sturdy and keeps the cover securely closed! It’s nice and tight but also really stretch and comfortable to use! This notebook is a win all around! As I said, I’ve already become a returning buyer, and will definitely continue to be! I’ve been enjoying painting these as gifts since making my first one and they’ve been really well received so I’m already planning on making more! Highly recommend this notebook!

I’ve used a few now and this is the first and still best journal I’ve bought since I started regularly writing. The cover is soft with an elastic band to hold it shut and the color was as it appeared online. I like the thickness of the pages and had no issues with bleed through. I tend to use gel ink pens so this was important for me. There is a very slight shadow of words on the page from behind but I’ve never been distracted by this or found it unacceptable personally. Still some of my favorite paper to write on because it’s just so smooth. The writing experience was so nice because the journal lays flat without much fuss, each page has a small subtle space at the top outer edge for the date, the pocket in the back is well-constructed and can hold stickers or page flags or notes. It’s just a very functional and lovely journal. It wasn’t a hassle to use which made it easier to use more often for me. No little hiccups with pages being misprinted or bleeding through or rough edges. Just a pleasure to use. There’s a pen loop on this journal attached to the back cover but I rarely used that. It was nice to have it available for the rare times when I did want it. The cost was fair in my opinion and I think it would make a lovely gift. It could be fun when giving as a gift to put a pen into the pen holder and slip some stickers or a card into the back pocket. Overall a very nice product that I feel sure I’ll purchase again in the future. Once my current journal is full I’ll go back to this brand. I’ve tried some others and I’m a loyal customer now.

Soft, but solid covers well made. This writing journal. College rule lines, paper is very durable Ink does not bleed through. I love the size. I got the large as I'm writing a series books. I wanted over 300 pages, which this has. They organize and stack away neatly and stand up on their own. They're very durable. I love the colors, got the light Sea green, I 100% would purchase again. Well made an excellent price. Fun book to have around to doodle in journal in. Write, your thoughts or feelings or even start a book. These would Make an excellent gift for anyone at any age!

Best journal ever! Love the super soft cover. Very durable. A little on the large side to have to transport to work and back, makes my laptop bag a bit heavy. But, it’s worth it. Book marks are useful. Pages are good quality

I purchased this journal (and will be purchasing more when I’ve finished this one) for a project I’ve started where I’m writing the Bible by hand. I’ve filled about a third of the pages so far and have loved writing in it. The paper is heavy and high quality as advertised, and I write with a lot of pressure so this was a huge selling point. It also lays flat nicely when writing on the back sides of the pages; it’s bound very well! The cover is soft and flexible but still much sturdier than any paper covered journal would be. I am so happy with it!

This notebook is good all around for work, personal, or recreational use. The table of contents is handy and even comes with tabs in a separate pouch if you wish to use it. Also comes with a built-in lanyard to keep track of your current page. It's a bit heavy and it'll be noticeable when carrying it around. One thing I like about it is how much space it has. No pointless rulings, border or headers. Just the paper itself, and one line on top of the page dedicated to the date. The pages do take some effort to rip out. The paper a step up above from the usual notebooks found in department stores. They're thicker, smoother resist water and spills more, and aren't as prone to ripping or tearing. Pencils, ballpoints, rollerballs and fountain pens worked really well with it. Speaking of fountain pens, this isn't friendly with them, especially with wet writers (Like Lamy for example) with wider nibs. Even with dry inks, it soaks through the page, causing massive feathering. At best, even fine nibs from Japanese pens- which write thinner- look wooly and fuzzy around the edges. It doesn't show off an ink's color properties very well. However! It absorbs ink so quickly, keeping smudging to a minimum. If you're left handed and always worry about smudging the pages with fresh ink, it dries quickly! See-through is fairly controlled too so both pages are useable and readable even with heavy ink. Personally, I use Japanese fine nibs so it's not an issue for me. Durability is good so far, with the binding holding up well even writing halfway through the book. I recommend having another book to write on it because it's awkward having to write with one side higher than the other. Overall, it's a neat notebook that feels like quality. I have two and use it for story writing and for studying. It has everything it needs to be an all rounded notebook: Plenty of room, organization options, large capacity, strong build, and great paper. Had this been slightly lighter and more fountain pen friendly, these would be a sleeper hit! A "If You Know, You Know" piece of stationery.

Beautifully crafted journal. Soft cover and a nice greenish grey color. It’s the perfect size and I love writing in it.

I have written in dozens of journals, different paper types, Japanese vs American vs Chinese, etc., different page thickness, fountain pen vs rollerball vs ballpoint vs pencil. THIS is the best journal out there at this B5 size. Nearly zero bleed through even with heavy fountain pen ink and basically zero feathering thanks to the high quality paper. 100gsm paper thickness is the goldilocks zone for writing with any pen type. The soft covers are satisfying and keeps the notebook lightweight while protecting the paper. I’m extremely pleased with this product and have been writing on these journals for the last 5 years or so. I have written on dozens of other notebooks as well, but I always return to this one. I have since purchased a 2 year supply of these!
