Let me get to the pros and cons directly: Cons: * Device is manufactured last year (2023-Aug). * Lenovo offers warranty and accidental damage protection (ADP) for 1 year from the date of manufacture, not date of purchase. * Usable RAM is 5.7 GB, not 8 GB. 2.3 GB is hardware reserved and we can't use it. Windows 11 takes approx. 4.5 GB RAM and we're left with 1.2 GB free RAM. Update, please ignore, this is configurable from BIOS, now I've set it to 300 MB and got 7.6 GB usable RAM. * RAM is soldered, it cannot be upgraded after purchase. * I got the white variant, which can attract fingerprints. * No type c charging. Pros: * Comes with Win11 and MS Office 2021. * Win11 manages available RAM optimally, it will reduce Win11 RAM footprint when needed from 4.5 GB to 4 GB or less based on how demanding other applications are., so it's fine for watching movies, browsing social media and for light programming needs. Install Linux or WinXp side by side with Win11 if you want more usable RAM. Also in Win11, we can increase the paging file (Virtual RAM) size by converting SSD storage to Virtual memory. * Comes with Dolby Atmos for the speakers and headphones. * Attractive and sleek design. * Value for money. * Has 512 GB SSD and an Octa-Core processor, unlike slow dual core processors. * All driver updates can be done easily from Lenovo Vantage app. * I find it comfortable for checking mails, installing security / driver updates, running 3rd party Anti-Virus like Kaspersky, using MS Office and watching movies. Giving 4 starts since Fingerprint reader and additional 2 - 4 GB RAM could've been provided and due to last year product.

Nothing bad in this price range... Performance, display, sound, camera average, bettery back up 7 hr

I purchased this Lenovo laptop online in January 2025, and I regret the decision deeply. Within just three months, the speakers stopped working, which was the first sign of poor quality. I’ve barely used the device, yet the hinge got damaged, even though I handled it with utmost care. This clearly reflects the substandard build quality. To make matters worse, when I checked the warranty status on Lenovo’s support website, it shockingly showed as expired, even though the product is only a few months old. Today, I scheduled a service appointment through Amazon product support, but I’m honestly not sure what to expect. The numerous negative reviews about Lenovo’s after-sales service are concerning, and I now understand why so many customers are frustrated. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with both Amazon and Lenovo. I trusted both brands, but this experience has left me feeling let down. I do not recommend this product at all – if you're considering buying it, please think twice.

Decent laptop with good performance. Speaker and screen are the let down.
