I like how this blanket is very soft and plush and feels really nice to the touch. I like how it’s constructed to be warm and is warm just as a regular blanket without any power at all. I like how the controls are simple/effective and how the 3hr default timer is set intuitive for most use I like how the highest heat setting seems sufficient even when really cold, and that it heats up fast helping to better thaw out my feet that can get cold as ice. I like how being a shorter throw model doesn’t take away from it’s effectiveness and that its smaller size even helps make it easier to manage. I like how upon ordering that the manufacturer emailed me guidelines for safe use/operation I like how other than the big plastic sticker they put on it that there’s very little that I don’t like. Long review details Although this blanket is very soft and plush, it’s thin enough that you can still easily mold it to follow your shape. But with it’s construction being on the thin side, you are reminded that it is indeed an electric blanket because you can feel the heating cables within it's build which start their inlaid pattern at about 10 inches inward from the outer most edge/border, but I haven’t found the feel of them to be at all off-putting either. I didn’t like that some spots seemed to heat up more than others but over all that’s also pretty minor and that most importantly it does warm up quickly. I also didn’t like that the handheld controller itself tends to heat up a bit when on the higher settings adding some worry to its safety but I’ve been using it for over a year now and haven’t had issues otherwise; and, I found you don’t have to keep it on high for very long, just to warm up quickly before setting it lower. For more precaution I initially got in the habit of hanging my controller from a hook hung off my bed side dresser drawer which helps give it adequate space to "hang out and be cool" and that does seem to help it dissipate heat better; but I also often use it while on the couch with the controller right on top of me or with it sometimes ending up off to the side or even under me, but still haven’t had any issues. This is the throw size model and I like that its smaller in terms of size management because while I'm also using other regular blankets with this (only when its really cold, and when I might lay one blanket on top of this one to better hold the heat in) on my lower half to add more heat where it’s needed most for my legs and especially my feet that can often get cold as ice, and this really helps with that. I do often use it on the couch but either way I always use it with a flannel sheet which not only works well for adding extra warmth but better helps to distribute the heat and has also been very effective in keeping it cleaner longer and so effective that I haven't had to wash it yet. This is surely not a perfect product, nor at this price point is it made of the highest standard or quality in comparison to models more expensive, but despite that its issues have been minor, and it’s been working really well for me over what's been now its second cold season or second year and it’s still keeping me warm at night. Will update if any of this changes, but again, it's going into its second year of daily use (when it’s cold), and I can recommend it with a full five stars.

I bought this blanket after reviewing product guides on best electric blankets for 2025. This brand came up several times as a good one. I was concerned when I opened package because it was a thinner blanket that the other one I had for years (Serta that finally quit). It's lightweight and the wires are right there, however, I put my down blanket on first (lightweight also) then this blanket on top. I have to say, it works very well. I actually like the lighter weight and it heats wonderfully. Many settings to choose from with timer. It has the Sherpa lining on the inside which is so soft and nice. I only plugged in one side and it's nice and warm. Also the plugs are more to the side. I'm not fighting the footboard to hook it up. It's true to size adequately covering bed with length and width. The color was perfect for my decor. Very easy to make my bed with this lighter weight so I'm pleasantly surprised. It heats evenly. I have no complaints. Too new to judge washability but the lesser weight should be a plus in a washer.

Every winter, I wanted to get him a blanket, but he always said he didn’t need one. This time, I didn’t ask—I just bought it and had it shipped to him. After he received it, his attitude completely changed. He said it’s really warm, and the blanket feels thick and well made, not cheap or flimsy at all. The fabric is soft, and the overall quality feels solid and reassuring. Now, every night, he lies directly on the warm layer of the blanket and puts another quilt on top. He sleeps deeply and comfortably, and it’s easy to tell that he truly enjoys using it. Seeing him happily use something he once refused—but now relies on—makes me happy too. Sometimes men aren’t as attentive as women when it comes to comfort. In a way, this blanket feels like it delivered my care to him when I couldn’t be there myself. I bought this for my mom as she has severe arthritis. It is soft and plush. The only complaint I have is that is does not get very hot. However, at the suggestion of letting it heat up while folded for 30 minutes, it was nice and toasty.

I absolutely love my heated throw blanket. It’s the perfect size, super soft, and does not feel like it’s going to burn me! The highest heat setting is perfect. I’ve fallen asleep a few times with it and I feel safe and comfortable knowing it will not overheat me. I like how there is a timer option and different heat settings from 1-6. You can also detach the plug in so it can be washed. Great gift idea!

Uses around 100W of power at max setting. In fact, most settings draw about the same and there are not very big differences in them. I was initially disappointed in the heat output of the blanket at first like some others. It's been decades since I've owned an electric blanket so regulations have obviously changed. My guess is that most other blankets produce the same amount of heat by regulation alone. I can tell you it absolutely hasn't been a problem. I sandwich the blanket between a similar sherpa blanket and a merino wool blanket, followed by a comforter. Beneath me, is another sherpa blanket. This is so the electric blanket isn't making direct contact with the skin on my body and allows me to wash it much less frequently if at all during the winter. I use it primarily to pre-warm my bed, which sits next to an open window in the dead of winter (I close it when I sleep). Between the sherpa blankets and the electric on top, the heat easily makes its way through and fully warms the entire bed. Despite my initial disappointment, I usually can't make it 2 hours without having to turn it off, so I usually set the timer to 2-3 hours instead of 8 on the setting of 6. I am a cold sleeper (need a lot of warmth) and while I could get by without this, this is just so much better on top of the sherpa sandwich I get into at night, especially for my feet. I have tried just a heating pad before but those tend to bunch up under the blankets over just a few days. The twin size fits well and has decent overhang. I have not had to wash it yet. The texture on its own is very warm and comfortable.

Works well and does not get extremely hot, which is what you want, so you don't burn to death. This blanket is very soft. I like it and will keep it. The only thing I found annoying is that the power cord between the controller and blanket needs to be longer. Depending on where you place the controller, it may be challenging. This blanket will replace a 4-year-old blanket that quit working. Time will tell all.
