My daughter got the S'well Stainless Steel Ice Cream Chiller for my husband’s birthday, and it has been such a hit! He loves ice cream and now uses this chiller every single day. It keeps his dessert cold the whole time, no melting mess. A great find and a fun gift idea for any ice cream lover!

The lid on mine screws on with difficulty. When tighted hand tight, the lid unscrews only with difficulty. Do not recommend.

I recently bought a Ninja Creami Deluxe 11 in 1 and while casually looking at various accessories, I realized it was going to be too cold for my hands to eat out of the pint, and if I made some ice cream to go with desserts at Christmas, how was I going to keep it cold/frozen on the hour long drive to where my family gathers? I don't own a cooler because I have no where to store it in my apartment, and how could I leave any extra ice cream behind without having one less creami deluxe pint to make ice cream, sorbet or italian ice in? Then I saw this by S'well. I have loved their water/drink bottles, and this looked like a good fit. I found some paper pint cups with lids that I could use to put my ice cream or sorbet in, and then I could drop the paper pint in for travel. The paper pint fits perfectly without the paper lid, and once I get where I'm going, I can remove it from the S'well container, put the lid on, and put the pint in the freezer. My Ninja Creami makes more than a standard pint size, so I end up filling 1.5 paper pints, and I use this to hold the half pint while I eat that. So far, I haven't stored a pint of ice cream in it longer for an hour, but the ice cream I stored in the S'well container hadn't melted at all in that time. I couldn't be more pleased with them (I bought 2: one in mint, one in vanilla), and I'm considering buying a few more and putting ice cream or sorbet in them and giving that as a small handmade (the ice cream in it) gift when I go to homes for holiday/special meals.

I opened the the lid and put both parts in the freezer overnight. I packed the ice cream in the morning and put it in an insulated bag for transporting. 4 hours later it was still as hard as when I packed it. Opens a whole new world for having ice cream in places not usually available, like the beach.
