Amazing Quality For An Even Better Price
I ordered the CR 900 Men’s Edition through Amazon just looking for a solution to removing hardened skin on my feet and not expecting much - just thought I’d give a try. After using the project for a little over 3 weeks now, I can honestly say I’ve never been so happy with a self-care product! The product is very ergonomic and feels comfortable to hold, the shaving heads do their job perfectly without any damage to good skin on my feet, a good charge will last for a good amount of time and it cuts through callouses with such ease - my feet have never been in such good condition. After going through the box properly today - I was once again impressed when I came across the warranty slip and read about the work they do for underprivileged children as this is a topic that hits close to home. I’m now even happier to have spent my money with a company knowing that a portion of this will also go to a good cause.

Game changer
I’ve regularly removed dry/ hard skin using various methods over the years. First was an exfoliating cream which wasn’t very effective but was very messy. I’ve tried the boots you wear for 20 minutes and skin peels off over next two weeks. Good result, but messy. Mostly I’ve used a Scholl battery operated roller remover which I’ve always been really pleased with. My problem has come with age and arthritis. The Scholl product is brilliant but as it contains batteries it’s quite bulky and it is heavy. I have deluxe pedicures at the beauty salon and they use the black ( for men) version of the product I’m reviewing here. I decided to buy the blue option purely on its looks. It’s fabulous, perfect.I use this after a shower and drying my feet. I sit up on the bed with a towel under my foot to catch the shavings of dead skin. The product is very light, not at all bulky and so easy to use. So I sit in comfort to do my own pedicure, five minutes later I’m shaking the bits from the towel into the bath then swill them away. I rinse my feet and apply Sanctuary heel balm then pop on a pair of white cotton ‘pedicure’ socks - my usual ones are from Boots at £5 pair. I will still have Salon pedicures because it’s a treat but in between I have my Own Harmony. There’s no excuse for anyone to walk around with thick, cracked dry skin that looks more like hooves than feet when this brilliant, value for money product is readily available.

Harmony Foot Care CR900 It works without hurting
Product arrived on time with same delivery guy as usual ( I like to see familiar faces when I do business- important to me, maybe not others?) I only write product reviews unless extremely good or extremely bad. I would suggest that if a supplier sends a product that was adequate n'est pas? So doesn't require review? This product is extremely good and does what it says it should and to a comfortable level. I have feet with hard skin that would make your Mum cry for you. Thick, hard skin on the edges of my big toes and weight bearing surfaces. I've been using a Dremel to cut them down, which works but the high revs burn (literally) For those who suffer from this complaint, you will understand. It's very sore and painful and affects how you walk/run. On arrival the product took about an hour to recharge to full (green light) then I set to it. The revs of this product are so much slower than the Dremel I'd been using, upon using I thought it wouldn't work. Actually it was brilliant, you can see the the skin flying off (you will need a good hoover to pick it up off the carpet) The broad sander picks up all of the flakes of loose skin and grinds away the really thick stuff very well. You can do this with a Dremel but it's sore and the heat build up is painful. Dremel is brilliant but this is not what they are designed for? The Harmony CR900 arrives well packaged with an Extended (18 Month) Warranty card plus a donation to underprivileged kids option. Stating that this is a family owned and the product being excellent I can whole heartedly support this company. The product being extremely good and the feeling good with the supplier I'd say, buy it if you need it! If you have manky feet like me, you'll be happy!

If you get athletes foot don't bother
If you have dry heels, read the 5 star reviews, if you get athletes foot, read on. I wanted to be able to remove my heavy calluses more quickly than with a pumise stone. I get athletes foot a lot, and keeping hard skin at bay helps. The calluses on the heel and ball of my foot are thick, hard and a little damp, not dry and cracked. There seem to be multiple good reviews and a few poor reviews for this device, so I had a punt. On the first try it was rubbish, so I read the manual, changed to the extra course roller, and saw I should use after a bath / shower. So I tried. Photos are before and after using the electric remover on my heel and the comparison is 5 minutes with the electric remover followed by just under 5 minutes with a pumise stone on the same heel. You can see that electric remover has dug up ruts in my hard skin, but hasn't really removed that much. The Pumice stone was more effective. This was really disappointing, I really wanted this to be the answer to my problems, I felt like giving it one star... But, to be fair, I use a LOT of elbow grease with a pumise stone, the electric remover just goes and does the job. I tried it on the callus on my big toe, which is dryer, and wow, it really works well on dry callus. If I try it at the end of the day, with dry feet, it does actually remove some of the area's I miss with the pumise stone. Also, it is more powerful if you use it when plugged in, it makes a difference and that is how I use it now. It is a little too noisy to use going to bed, which is a shame, because that is when it is most effective for my feet. Also I find the roller vibrates and rattles around in the drive head at the non-driven end, 2 year warranty, so I am not too concerned, but it is a little off putting. It is a good shape to keep hold of, but if you are supposed to wash the roller every use, I would have expected it to be at least splash proof rather than have to take the roller in and out. So all in all, for me, a let down and not what I had hoped for. It still works and I still use it occasionally, but now I concentrate on putting the time in with a pumise stone daily. Hope this helps if you get athletes foot and want this type of device, unfortunately the poor reviews are for people with sweaty feet like me.

Seriously Impressive...
Well, I didn't expect much, to be honest. I have feet from hell. I was a dancer in my youth, my job now keeps me on my feet all day, and I'm also a keen gardener. My feet have had a dog's life, basically, and I'm too ashamed of them (and ticklish!) to even think about professional podiatry. I've tried many gadgets - Scholl, Braun. Babyliss, the Ped Egg, and that strange torture device that looks exactly like a cheese grater. Most of them worked quite well, to be honest, but it was such a performance I needed pickling in Stoli beforehand to prime myself for a good hour's feverish scrubbing away at my soles with the grinder du jour. In the case of the cheesegrater, I got carried away (and my feet were numb) and only realised afterward that my feet were bleeding. Spent the next week tiptoeing around as if on hot coals. Nice. So. I was braced for disappointment. One word on the seller - Own Harmony UK - they came through for me after a delivery mishap by Amazon. Excellent communication, no quibbles, courteous and professional. Once I got the chance to use the device, my initial impression was that I hadn't switched it on, or it was faulty. It was so quiet! My heart sank. Couldn't be powerful enough to shift the ridges of doom on my feet. No way. Delighted to report I was wrong! This is such an easy to use, light to hold, quiet to operate, but extremely effective little device. It glides over your skin, and there's no struggle or jumping, no vicious high pitched whirring - the only indication it's about its work is the fine plume of foot dust it sends up in a cloud. Seriously, I hadn't dealt with my feet in months. I'd been dreading it. Thick callused skin all over the heels, the pads, bunions, even hard skin on the tops of the toes. I know. Too many details. But I'm blown away at how easily this little gadget made inroads on the hard skin. I only had time for 5 minutes on each foot, but my word, they are now smooth! No more pain when I walk. No shuffling, no walking on the sides of my feet. Sure, cosmetically they still need more work to get all the ugly stuff off, but what this device managed to do in 10 minutes is amazing. Excellent buy. Would make a great Christmas present for a loved one. Pain-free feet: that's pretty priceless. Thank you, Own Harmony UK!
