Nightmare to install but quality part
Watch a youtube tutorial before you get into this. This job is a pain in the butt. But after about 2 days of efforts I got it installed. These don't come with intructions... I highly recommend you attach both pieces together before installing. Start under the truck, go over the axle, around and up into the cab, and the worst part is in the dash. You'll have to sit in the floorboard and get your hands in the dash behind the steering column. I was able to get it installed only taking off the lower dash piece and rasing the steering wheel. I'm a skinny guy and I barely fit. This did fix my truck not shifting into park. It was not excessively long or too short. I hope I never have to install one of these again

Think twice before you order !!!!
Product was delivered on time i ordered this for our 2008 silverado it's ok for a temporaly fix only thing i did'nt like was the idea of a little clip that connects the two cables together you'll undestand what i'm talkin about when you order it , my recomendation is to order a few clips with it and have some jbweld handy it may come in hand installing ithe cable is a little pain exspecially tryin to put the little clip in place so use your knowledge and your own mechanical thoughts

Install was fairly easy just got to take your time and you'll get it. I only needed the top half and tried using the new top half with my factory bottom half to save time but the factory bottom cable end was to thick to slide into the new top cable end, so I had to use the whole new cable together. The is a rubber O ring on the adjustment side of the new bottom cable that you will need to just remove and not use it. The O ring will not fit in the adjustment and if it dose it will not fit into the next part for it to be able to slide and adjust. Remove the O ring and it will operate and adjust just fine. Great for the price, everyone around me wanted 290$ before taxes for a cable.
