It doesnt seem to pass through an audio signal. I reversed the USB connections and what not like the description says to do, but its weird that it asks to do that at all, and it didnt help my needs. 3 stars for everything else, would have been 5 stars for what I needed.

I wasn't able to get displayport alt mode to connect through this, but it was ok for charging and usb 2.0 mode. Didn't try usb 3.0 storage transfer.
