Amazon had a bundle promo recently, and this was one of the eligible products. I have to admit I'd never heard of the Weleda brand before, but I purchased this and some Weleda lip balm as part of the promotion and really like both products! The cream is very thick, and it has a light, fresh scent. The scent fades relatively quickly, so the cream can easily be used by men if they're worried about a smelly/girly hand lotion. Ironically, I offered this to my friend and her husband during a recent trip, and her husband was the first one to comment about how much he liked the scent. The cream absorbs relatively quickly, but if you're the type to keep hand lotion at your desk and you work on a computer all day, I would recommend giving a few minutes for it to fully absorb before typing again. It's initially a little greasy/tacky, but after 5 or so minutes that goes away. Just a word of caution, as I personally can't stand when I put on hand lotion and then grease up my laptop, phone, etc. This is labeled as body cream, but I feel it's more appropriate for hands, or possibly elbows, knees, heels, etc. that get dry/cracked more than other parts of the body. I wouldn't necessarily see myself slathering this all over, mainly because it's very thick and would be a bit harder to apply. I'll definitely be purchasing this again, especially to keep in my bag when I travel on planes and need that extra moisture.

I love Weleda Skin Food; the cream is very moisturizing, and I love how quickly it absorbs into your skin without feeling greasy. I keep a tube in my purse and a tube in the car, but these tubes are really, really small. One tube still lasts a while because I only need a pea-sized dollop for my hands, but the tube always falls to the bottom of the makeup bag in my purse and is sometimes hard to find due to its size. The cream itself is very thick and can be a little hard to spread if your hands are super dry, but it works wonders and feels great. The scent is pleasant, slightly herby (think original Ricola cough drop with slightly more floral under notes), but may not be to everyone's liking. My only wish is for a slightly larger tube and a flip top instead of screw-on lid.

This is the best cream ever. I have very stubborn eczema on my legs and only one application and my skin was much better also I use it on my face as a night hydrating mask. I highly recommend this cream but please be careful with the expiration date on the box cause i recently also ordered the under eye cream but it was expired so i returned that’s the only thing to be aware. But overall this is a GREAT product

This cream is so rich that you only need a dab. It’s smells clean and herbal. I have the sr all over, my purse, car console, bedside table etc. it’s perfect for winter months. I will always repurchase this.

So far I have really enjoyed using this cream. The brand quality of Weleda is something I've always trusted, and this cream is no exception. I love that it uses flower and fruit extracts, which make it smell amazing! Plus, the plant oils really nourish my skin, leaving it smooth and soft. Definitely a must-have in my skincare routine.

The product is amazing. However the packaging is not. This is the second time I bought this product with the metal packaging and each time it has gotten squished inside my bag and exploded out the top crimped portion of the metal packaging ruining two of my favorite bags. Please switch back to the old plastic bottle.

My little girl suffers from eczema, leaving her skin red, itchy and sore. She put some Weleda skin food in a hanky and tied it onto the affected area when she went to bed at night. A few weeks later, eczema gone. Her skin is soft and smooth. What's more the cream has a lovely rosemary oil scent. Be aware it does contain lanolin (my wife is allergic to this) and is not cheap, but it is very good.
