Fantastic value — way better fit than Dekoni!!!
Until I found these, I thought it was either Dekoni or all those mystery brands on aliexpress that I didn’t want to wait a month for to arrive. I really wanted to love Dekoni as they are extremely comfortable and I love how seriously they take the frequency response even providing graphs showing the exact change in the sound! Sadly they are also not cheap, muffle the sound too much, and are nearly impossible to remove on Hifiman headphones without breaking the mounting tabs. I finally decided to take a risk with these Voarmaks and I’m so glad I did!!! These fit perfectly just like the OEM pads and are breeze to install and remove!!! Like any aftermarket pad, depending on which model you get, they do change the sound a little bit but so far I found the fenestrated to have the best sound for my hifiman Edition XS with the least amount of change from the original headphone tuning. They are also literally a fraction of the cost of the Dekoni’s also making them an outstanding value. If I were to nitpick, I would prefer for there to be no fabric in the center of the donut, however other that I can’t recommend these enough, well done Voarmaks!! EDIT: after removing the mesh inside the pads (not necessary on newer Hifiman headphones which already have the mesh on the driver itself) these pads came to life & are now my personal favorite for all egg shaped hifiman headphones over any other pad on the market including ZMF!!! I highly recommend removing the mesh for a much more lively & clear sound!!

Great value and enhanced comfort Hifiman ear cushions
I have installed these replacement fenestrated hybrid polyester/protein ear cushions on several Hifiman models, including the XS, Ananda Nano, and Arya Stealth with no issues. These cushions feature a memory foam core material that provides outstanding comfort and creates an excellent seal around the ears, even for those who wear glasses. They offer exceptional value compared to the pricing of OEM and other well-known ear cushion vendors. However, I did notice that the replacement cushions come with an unnecessary grill cloth attached. I recommend removing this grill cloth, as there is already one integrated into the ear cups to protect the driver. The presence of the extra grill cloth will muffle the upper midrange and higher frequencies, which is not ideal for achieving the best sound quality. Installation is straightforward, but it's important to ensure that the left and right cushions are matched correctly to their respective ear cups. The thin side of each cushion should face forward, while the thicker side should be positioned at the rear. Additionally, when removing the OEM cushions, please be gentle to avoid damaging the plastic attachment clips. A credit card or similar tool can be helpful as a lever to release the clips. Once you align the bottom seam of the new cushion with the apex of the ear cup and the clips are aligned to their respective slots, you can gently snap the clips in place all around the cushion. In terms of sound quality, after removing the unnecessary grill cloth, I found the fenestrated cushions to be quite similar to the OEM cushions, albeit with a touch more warmth in the midrange. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for addressing the typical midrange recession found in Hifiman products. Overall, these fenestrated cushions provide great value, increased comfort, and a refreshing change to the OEM sound signature. For those who prefer to maintain the original sound profile, I would recommend considering the non-fenestrated cushions without the grill cloth.

Nice pads - An upgrade for sure!
I have installed these pads on my Ananda. The factory pads had began to peel as they always do with this and other Hifiman models. It's disgusting that put those garbage pads on such a great set of headphones. Hifiman should be ashamed. Also hybrid-style pads are almost always a poor choice. I have never seen where they actually help sound quality. Too the matter at hand.... These pads are fantastic. I was skeptical to say the least about them being actual sheepskin considering the price. I didn't try any other replacement pads before these so I cannot compare them to the other brands, but I don't see any need. These are more comfortable than the original pads ever were and they are all sheepskin with none of that gross fabric that ends up like a sweaty gym sock after hours of listening. These can be easily cleaned and cared for with a leather cleaning kit. The memory foam is just the right density for me so the seal is good. I only notice a slight change in sound and it seems that the sub-bass is a little more prominent and assertive, but YMMV. In summary, don't be hesitant of these due to price. They are what they say and the fit well. They look nice and will likely last much longer than the originals. I have many high-end headphones. My other Hifiman models that use these type pads will get these too when the time comes. Happy listening!!!

Decent pads
These are a great cheap alternative to the expensive Dekoni's although they aren't on the same level of quality. One big plus of these is that they're easier (for me) to put on my Anandas than the dekoni's. I think the issue with some of these headphones that have been around a while is that the Dekoni's sit in a warehouse for years and dry out. This is why one of my dekonis cracked when i was installing them but, for whatever reason, these took me half the time to install. The fit is fine, they're not as thick as the dekonis but they sound totally fine to me. The one thing that i'm not crazy about is the lining they use on the inside of the cup, the stock pads and the dekonis don't have any lining so i have no idea why they added this. I guess its a dandruff guard or something, the thing i don't like is that it touches my ears so it makes a bit of noise. Not a big issue since you can always just cut them out but i thought it was worth mentioning. All in all, I think these represent a great buy since they're 1/4 the price of Dekoni's and they're available to ship right away.

Excellent Pads. Way way way more comfy than OEM pads. The OE pads were itchy for me and got very hot, really fast. These pads have none of those problems, and are very soft to the touch (velour) and have like a very soft memory foam inside. Also being deeper, your ear doesn't touch the fabric protection on the inside. I have used them for over 8 months daily, and still looking like new, although i ware glasses. I highly recommend them! In terms of sound I have attached a measurement from my MiniDsp HEARS.

Sono praticamente uguali agli originali. Ottimi!

The sound is smoother compared to stock and they are so much more comfortable than stock which are too rigid for long listening sessions without having fatigue. Hopefully these last the long run, but if they don't they aren't too expensive to replace. All in all, love these pads.

Alright, so to start for the record: I've had my Arya Stealth for almost a couple of years now, and I've only tried ordering the Dekoni Elite Velours in the past. Those essentially ruined the Soundstage and brightness of my Stealth, so I decided stock must be best. Well, fast forward to now, and well, I thought I'd try my luck with another pair of earpad replacements. Let me definitively state that these earpads sound AMAZING and are super comfortable for $30 CAD. They have breathed new life into my 2-year-old Arya Stealth. I can't say I can compare them to the Dekoni Elite Hybrid ones, but for a 1/3 of their price, I highly doubt you can beat value. There are some caveats, however. If you do not make sure you do the following TWO things to your Voarmaks Ear Pads before use, you essentially have a 2-3* product for your Arya, instead of a 5* one. I also can only speak for the Arya Stealth, since it's the only HIFIMAN headphone I own. Firstly, you MUST cut out the included cloth mesh (like a previous reviewer mentioned). Yes, I know, it's a very nice quality mesh, but it 100% lowers the sound quality of the headphones. I even made sure to only cut out one of the meshes and A/B test each ear side simultaneously. You can do this for yourself and hear the very big difference. The Arya Stealth stock pads do not come with a mesh, and I'm pretty sure this is because the Stealth already has a mesh cover installed. I'd recommend using a pair of fabric scissors so that any cutting is more clean and precise. I brute-forced my way through with ordinary scissors and pins, but I wouldn't recommend this for just anyone. Also, feel free to tear the cloth off once you get to the edges, as it will only rip the cloth off and not necessarily other parts of the ear pads. However, this was MY experience (and yours may vary) so I'd reiterate that you should likely stick with fabric scissors so as not to damage your ear pads and void any return warranty. Secondly, you MUST make sure that the thicker side of the ear pads is for the back of your head, while the thinner part is for the front. Feel free to label me as dumb if most people should already know this, but any proper Arya Stealth ear pads should have a correct FRONT to BACK as a result of having a thicker back and thinner front. This completely changes the level of comfort soundstage, as installing the ear pads CORRECTLY ensures a proper sound seal around your jaw and the back-front of your head. Voarmaks, you guys have earned my admiration. Lovely pair of ear pads (that admittedly have to be manually modified) and I look forward to possibly ordering a different variation in the future!
