Third time lucky
I bought a Henry in the mid 90s and it's still going strong over 30 years later and having vacuumed up everything from usual stuff on carpets and hard floors to rubble on several house renovations. I gave it to my son 3 years ago, so then bought what I thought would be smaller, more convenient vacuum cleaners - an AEG (which gave up the ghost after 2 years) and more recently an Akitas cheapo model. Absolute rubbish. The AEG wasn't bad on suction, but the cord length was awful, and it suddenly stopped working. The Akitas... well, I could use a brush and get a better result, and the cord was only a couple of metres. So, I've just bought this and I wish I'd got it when I first gave the Henry to my son. Suction excellent, manoeuvrability excellent, quality excellent, attachments excellent. I can do my whole ground floor from one socket. It's also weirdly more compact than the others despite the impression it's larger. Yes it was 3 x the cost of the Akitas but you get what you pay for.

The Best Little Sucker In The World
OMG. Don't look at anyone leaving less than 4 stars as they are the ones that can never be satisfied. I am amazed at this vacuum cleaner. No wonder it's Number 1 in the industry. I had a hoover bagless which gave up its suck almost entirely so I threw it out. Between then and getting Henry my carpets were so messy it looked like a tip. I went around my house with Henry in a fraction of the time it took me with my old hoover. Henry eats everything in his path. Screws, toenails, nuts and even pens whole. Don't leave a sock on the floor as Henry will have it for breakfast. I had to remove polystyrene cement off my ceiling after taking down polystyrene tiles for fire safety. The mess was huge but Henry sucked it all up like a pro and I was clean again in no time. I have never in all my time had a better performing cleaner. Sure it's not a new digital cordless or bagless gimmick like some adverts for their cleaners but I can tell you for certain no bagless or cordless cleaner can perform like Henry. With my old bagless you have to empty it into a bag or dustbin anyway and some blows back on the floor. With Henry, everything stays in and you just remove the bag and bin it, absolutely NO MESS. Cordless? No way. You can't get power like this with a cordless, they go flat quick and they don't suck well at all. Henry comes with a bag installed and a spare so you can use him right after delivery. The stair attachment is great as well. I went down my entire staircase in less than 10 minutes and he sucked up everything the first time. Henry is so powerful that he sucks the carpet away from the gripper rods. Rugs are a synch with Henry and clean in seconds as is furniture. The cord is extra long so he can go all the way upstairs and into the bedrooms without having to unplug downstairs and plug in upstairs and when done the cord winds into the hub so you don't have to wrap the cord around anything or get knots in it. The turbo head is well worth the extra in this case as it cleans deep into the pile with the slightest of ease. The 6-litre bags last for ages too. so you don't have to be buying bags too often. One bag will hold up to 4 months average cleaning on an average three bedroom house, so 3 bags a year is not at all expensive. When considering many many years of using vacuum cleaners I will never go back to anything else now. Henry even comes with a three-year warranty, unlike the standard 12 months you normally get with other makes. You can tell as soon as you get him out the box he is built to last and robust. He never falls over and you can pull him along by the hose without the hose disconnecting as my old Hoover did often. You do have to go back and help him around corners but that's nothing to me. Trust me, Go for Henry, he is the best little succker in the world.

Great machine!
I am a HUGE fan of all Henry vacuum cleaners - I have five!!! All slightly different but all incredibly durable, do the job brilliantly and incredible machines. Had them years for my children, mother-in-law and myself. This particular machine was a surprise because smaller but packed just as much punch - great suction - incredibly easy to use and store. LOVE it ! Boy this company out performs any hoover/vacuume cleaner on the market - these designers and engineers know what they are doing. Why all professional cleaners I meet (I ran large office buildings and organised huge teams of cleaners - Henry’s were the go to machines. This small version is brilliant !

A hoover to rule them all
There's a reason that Henry is the hoover that dominates the market. I moved into my new house and was borrowing my relative's £60 vaccum, but found the cord length and lack of suction frustrating, so I opted to spend a bit extra and get the best hoover possible. I've never had a problem with having to go over the same area twice with Henry. It sucks everything up nicely and the cord length is amazing - I can hoover the entire house without needing to unplug it. It comes with a range of attachments that I've yet to make full use of, as well as spare bags. As the majority of the house is carpeted, I use the carpet head instead of the normal one, and actually find it a pleasure to use. It is easy to move around and easy to reel the cable back in. You know the saying: buy cheap, buy twice. It's definitely worth spending a little bit extra to get this hoover and make your life easier, especially when you consider how often you will use it. 10/10 highly recommend.
