1st and foremost.. if it’s not properly installed it’s not able to function how it should. Do it right and this is a great & safe purchase! Quality is legit and much better than the original. Installing isn’t all that bad. It’s been about 5 months since I swapped mine and it’s still doing fine. It sealed quite well even though I likely over torqued the bolts being without a torque wrench that goes as low as the specs called for. Just be sure to clean surface well after taking old cover off. Reapply Honda bond in each corner where it says and just be mindful of the gasket when installing the new one. And let it sit at least 16 hours before cranking so the Honda bond can cure. Definitely a worthy product if you’re on the hunt and comparing the many different ones

Installed a couple weeks ago on my 2016 Honda Accord EX-L with the 4 cylinder engine. Has been working with no leaks. Properly installed with gasket maker and correct torque.

I bought this replacement valve cover for my wife's 2015 Honda Accord Sport 2.4l because it was aluminum and I wanted to replace the plastic part. It was the perfect fit, and looks just like it was from the factory. Build quality is good, no leaks so far and this part was a few dollars more that ordering the plastic version.
