When I tried gel extensions for the first time a couple years ago, I used the liquid gel glues that were available at that time. I find those really difficult to work with and difficult to clean up. If you try to clean it, it starts pulling off the nail, getting everywhere and I always had issues with overflow at the cuticle and underneath the free edge. Not to mention the bubbles and lifting. As soon as I finished the set the nails would start lifting and popping off. I saw a new product from BTArtBox that was basically gel extensions pre painted with a French manicure and they looked so cute and easy that I wanted to try again. I had seen solid gel glue while buying other nail supplies on Amazon and decided to give it a try, so I ordered this one. I am super impressed with the quality and ease of use Makartt provides us with this product. So far it has lived up to its promise of easy application. I get a lot less overflow with this and it’s easy to clean up with a cuticle cutting tool or efile. It does stay in place a lot better than regular extend gels when curing. I have not had an issue with air pockets, bubbles or lifting. I had my first set on for about 6 days then I decided I could make it look better. It was kind of rushed and I took it off. The picture is my second set using this glue and French gel tips and I think it’s going to last about 3 weeks. With this product it is easy to get the tips right up to the cuticle because it doesn’t overflow too much. It is way easier than the regular extend gels and it conforms perfectly to ridged nail with no bubbles or orher issues. If I am unsatisfied with the longevity of the gel glue now that I have done this second set perfectly, I will definitely update my review bur as of now I am really satisfied with the product.

These are literally the best nails I’ve ever used. They are the perfect coffin shape. They’re durable and sturdy for 1week + of wear. Please please bring them back, I’m dying without them!

This is marketed & sold as an 3D sculpture gel, which is NOT the case. This is a glue. You can do random line art with it but if you needed to sculpt a design, this does not have the consistency for that. I was able to improvise creating free hand designs but that was a task in itself. It is a small sized tube clear substance with a nozzle that sends out a perfect sized tube of products. But again, it’s not easily malleable because of the consistency. My nail designs have been secure with this glue. If you’re using this as glue its perfect functionality.

I used this with some generic full cover gel tips. I also have very flat nail beds, which usually means gaping or bubbles when applying glue to nail enhancements. Because this is a solid glue, it filled in any gaps with no bubbling. When I say I am rough on my nails, I am understating how abused they are. Even salon application of enhancements don’t tend to last me more than three or four days. The photos above are from day 10! I used a jelly polish and you can see straight through these clear tips. There is no bubbling, no gaping, no lifting. Not even a hint that these nails are ready to pop off. When I was applying the nails, I accidentally shifted one as I was curing, and didn’t notice it was crooked until after curing was complete. I was able to file off the nail and used acetone and nail oil to remove the glue, which came off fairly easily. I had read other reviews saying people had issues with removal, but that was not my experience at all. For $9.99 you get two tubes, which I thought would be small. It is actually a ton of product. I could replace my nails every two weeks for a year and would most likely still have some glue left over. If you are a gel nail girl like me, I think this glue is the new must-have product. I will not go back to regular glue or brush on uv gel glue again. This is the only product strong enough to withstand my life as a full time mom, wife, and dog mom, as well as my full time job. I loved this gel. It's easy to work with, doesn't run, and holds its shape very well for creating 3D effects. It cures quickly, and the designs come out super defined and shiny. Perfect for delicate or more elaborate designs. I would definitely buy it again.
