I was expecting a magnet the size of a bath plug for skimming over gravel to remove nails and screws after building work. I assumed this based on the image, but without anything to compare it to, I guess that was my error.It is actually about the size of a pound coin. Very small so doesn’t cover a wide area and sweeping the gravel for nails will take weeks with this.It is, however, strong enough to lift a hefty crowbar.

Purchased to find studs by locating the screws and nails holding the plasterboard to it. This strength of magnet is really useful for providing a good noticeable pull without damaging the wall or being too hard to pull away

Why did you choose this product over others?:Seemed to have all i needed but alas the magnets sticking power was extremely poor so the item was sent back for a refund. Avoid this item as it pretty bad.

Bought the 0-19kg piece. Shocked thats its tiny but was disappointed that it was so weak when used on the clothing tag forgotten to be removed by the salesperson. I got angry and thought this was a scam but i tried on the fridge and it was so strong. Guess it depends on the type of magnet its used on.

Arrived on time and well packed. Some assembly required but literally one screw and only took a few seconds to put together. I knew the dimensions as they are all in the description so wasn’t surprised with its size.I ordered the 0-19kg strength. This was tested with kettle bells, I tried an 18kg kettle bell with a flat surface, it didn’t even move. I then used an 8kg kettle bell and the magnet kept ripping off without even getting the weight off the ground.A great little magnet but don’t expect it to pick up or hold the described weights.
