Great for bedtime
My very gifted 7 yo likes to fall asleep listening to us read her informational texts, and we were running out of appropriate things at a higher level for her-until we landed on these. Great price and the books are so pretty. Plus the font is reasonable for a (not so gifted) parent in bedtime lighting to try to read out loud and while they are physically big, they are not too heavy/thick like some Encyclopedias. Homeschool kids LOVED these!
These books have been a HUGE hit with my kids. They're well made with loads of images to keep the kids engaged. Even at 10 yo, they run to these books to fact check or explore, or just pass the time. Highly recommend.

They really like this set!
Gave this set to my grandson for winning his schools science fair. He and his little sister been reading it off and on. The pictures are inviting, and the reading level pushes him to improve his vocabulary. They really like the books and that's important! For Christmas 2026 I'll be getting them the Worlds Book Encyclopedia for their home library. Reading is FUNdamental.
