I have given this only a 1 star rating not because of its effectiveness but because of the quality of the product. Concerning its effectiveness the jury is probably out, I purchased this in May 2023 and think there was a degree of improvement with the pigeons although it by no means got rid of them totally (I know it says it takes time to be effective but this comment is based on having had quite a few months over the summer). But the product quality is poor.........after just a few weeks the hook by which you are meant to hang the device snapped off and now it has stopped working. I found it was full of water and having dried it out it no longer operates - well only when plugged in, relying on battery power only (which is necessary when it is in the garden) it doesn't work any longer. The instruction manual isn't great either. All in all, not great.

Easy set up and straight to work keeping the birds away. Only down side is the high frequency chirp every 25 secs

First, I didn't trust it. Now, after month, pigeons stop coming. You only need to charge it once and keep it on the sunny side, that's it, no additional charging required. Birds will stop coming, but it takes patience as it will take few weeks to actually work.

Does not work. Seagulls made a nest a few feet away from it. Also they sat next to it. The instructions say to give it a couple of weeks to work, then your outside the return date. Contacted seller via amazon and direct for a refund. Got no reply or any acknowledgement. Load of rubbish. Wanted to give it 0 stars but had to give it 1 to post review

I can hear it and I can see it flashing at night, but I can also see the sparrows roosting in the wisteria where I do not want them so it is not really doing its job.

Great device. Had a pesky seagull eating my cats food. Took about 3 days to get rid of him, but haven't seen him for weeks!

Best of the three types i got to try,doesnt say much for rest.

I rarely give a 1 star review, but I have to this time. The communication with the seller was good - they responded quickly and offered advice. Unfortunately, the low rating is due to the product itself. The device emits sound signals (8,000 - 32,000 Hz ± 500 Hz) that are loud enough for humans to hear. I confirmed with the seller that there is no volume control, so it produces a very loud sound every few seconds. It doesn't seem to deter any birds (I even saw one sitting right in front of it), but it's extremely annoying for us and our neighbours and gives us headaches. We bought two as a pack for £53, but unfortunately, after testing them seriously in many different ways, we missed the return windows so they will have to go in the bin.

bonjour les boutons de démarrage ne s enfoncent pas. depuis j ai fini par comprendre comment marchent ces boutons, merci la notice pas claire du tout. en route depuis 2 jours, vraiment pas convaincu pour le moment. a suivre après plus d un mois en activité, franchement c est nul, aucun résultat.

Till now, the best bird scare product ever purchased. I am happy about the product and because it is solar energy chargeable made it very robust for the balcony deployment. The noice could be irritating sometimes, however, the small irritation is far better than a whole balcony that was almost destroyed by the angry birds.

Day 1 pigeons gone Week 1 pigeons moving closer again looking from neighbours roof Week 2 pigeons moving in again Now 1 month in I got +12 pigeons living there more then a month ago and the sound and light does nothing to them while I took these 2 pictures this morning the alarm went off and they did not batter an eye. I do not post Amazon reviews and I have been served really good and really bad Amazon products but this is clearly a scam I ended up with more pigeons after 1 month then I had before.
