I’m building an office/man cave in an unused section of my garage. I installed junction boxes in the 4 upper corners in case I wanted to get serious about music. I chose this product based upon its fine reviews. 14 gauge wire is a bit overkill but you never know. The cable is well made. Delivery was prompt.

I got this roll of speaker wire to hookup my outdoor speakers. As I’m only using Yamaha and Kicker outdoor speakers, I didn’t think I’d need to invest as much for the wiring compared to my higher end indoor speakers with their heavy duty wires. For a roll of 200’ it’s at a good price point. While setting things up, I noticed there was a foot marker at every 12” with the actual length listed: the roll started at 200’ and counted down to 1’ (with 12” remaining). This made things much easier when I went to cut the needed lengths. So much easier than having to use a tape measure or eyeballing it! So that was a nice surprise. After hooking everything up, I was very satisfied with the sound. I have 8@ 150 watt speakers (4 Yamaha & 4 Kicker) hooked up to a 1000 watt Rockville Rock Zone amp that has 4 zones powering 8 speakers. Therefore, each speaker is getting up to 125 watts of power and the sound is great! My whole back yard rocks. : ) The copper thread wires are well insulated and the white outer shell is strong and sturdy. This is definitely a good mid-range speaker wire that doesn’t break the bank. This wire would also work well for a bedroom setup or surround sound setup that isn’t high end. With 200’ of wire, there should be enough length to complete a whole 7.1 speaker setup (not including the sub speaker) unless your room is massive.
