Hörmann Hand Transmitter HS5 868-BS Black/Europe, 436752

I have one of these for the master on my Hormann double garage door. I also have 2 of the Hormann key fobs. To be honest, the key fobs are junk. They don't work half the time (don't flash blue) so I change the battery. Change the battery a few times and they won't go back together properly. Then they are held together by elastic or tape. These units are solid, quality, work every time and it is very easy to change the battery. The price is good, it is easy to copy the code across to the new unit (look on YouTube videos) and they don't cost much more than the smaller key fob ones. 100% recommend these remotes. Works great.

Delivered promptly and thanks to the instructions given by GatesRemotesLtd I was able to re-programme my new zapper without problems. Replacement was only necessary as we had allowed battery in old one to disintegrate which had affected the electronics so even a new battery didn't get it working.

Such a speedy delivery, clear instructions to follow to be able to set the fob up, just placed the old one back to back with the new one, held buttons down on fobs and data transferred over, garage door up and running within minutes. Would definitely recommend buying it, I will definitely be ordering another one for members of the family to use

Easy to clone to existing unit and replace a lost one. Works reliably and effectively so another good purchase.

I had to buy this when my previous one started eating batteries having been dropped, but at least I could get the old one working as this is required to copy the codes over.The instructions are very unclear, and there is no provision if you have lost all remotes - but I guess there will be something in the manual (which most people would not have kept) - and there web site is as useful as a chocolate teapot.It took me three attempts to copy the code from the old one to the new as it simply doesn't make it clear how long to keep pressing the buttons for but one thing I did learn - even though the radio range of the device is huge - when porting the code they have to be almost next to each other (as it does say in the instructions).

Good quality remote control, which was easy to program from my original remote. I will just have to be more careful not to drop it on the floor this time. I would highly recommend this remote control.

twinned with the old hand set easily and worked immediately. Twinning instructions would have been useful but google search explained the process clearly.. Not sure what we would have done if we had no set to twin with.
