Perfect Fit For Hero Co. Pendant
I purchased a pendant with a chain that said it was 24" recently. Upon receipt, it seemed shorter (measured and it isn't). But, more importantly, it just didn't work well with the pendant. I went in search of a "rope" style chain that wouldn't cost me a ton of money. I saw some reviews on this one and was like, ok, cool... let's go with this and see how it is. If it doesn't work or whatever, I can return it. Well... no need to return it. It works perfectly with the pendant. One of my concerns was whether it would be a more relaxed leather or seemingly stiff. It's more relaxed, tightly braided, and just nice in general. For the price, if it experiences wear and tear breakage, it's easy to purchase again. But it seems to be good enough quality that I don't think I'll need to worry with that for a while. I also like that the clasp is all black. I purchased the 26" length and it sits exactly where I wanted it to, while also being able to fit over my melon of a head easily. The clasp is a new style I'm not used to and I actually really like it. I do wish it was available in a thicker size, but I'm not sure the pendant would fit over the clasp if it were.

Very nice necklace
I wanted something that wasn't gold or silver and I thought hey what a great idea a leather strap necklace and it is very nice it's rounded and soft against the skin very sturdy and strong. The latch holds very well. And what I like about it the most is that it can be personalized.. it is very lightweight and very durable. The color is black but you can also get brown and it does not fade or anything I have not tried to wear it in water but it's so easy to take off and on that you won't have any problems with that. It's a more sporty look and it is very strong and holds whatever pendant you will want on it. I have a memorial ashes that I wanted to be sure were secure around my neck and the necklace is very secure and strong. This would definitely make a nice gift. Performance: I can tell it's going to last a long time.

Durable!
My son has wore this necklace almost every day for over 4 years. I just noticed it on him and it still looks new. The metal has held up and the cord isn't showing any signs of wear. Pretty impressive.

Broke after a month, but is very well made
It works really well and hold sufficiently! I only have a small black obsidian carved ankh pendent on it, but it stayed for about a month. I started wearing it around December 4th and it wasn’t until about January 3rd or 4th that it ended up breaking off in my sleep. I just got another one to give them another shot, but I would say it’s pretty good and durable and 100% waterproof and water resistant. I wore it every day after I put it on until it broke.

Broke after 3 months
I really liked the look of this necklace. However, after 3 months the rope pulled out of the clasp. Disappointed.

Sturdy and Reliable (with one caveat)
First of all, I have to make one note: it's important to consider the thickness of the cord as well as the length. Now, I did think about that originally, and got the 3mm thick cord. Unfortunately, what I did not consider was the *thickness of the cylindrical clasp,* which is naturally a bit bigger than the cord. The cord might be the right size, but you have to pass by the clasp to get something onto the necklace, and if that's not taken into account, you're SOL there. But I saw that it was a sturdy product that was just unfortunately the wrong size. When I contacted the vendor to ask if the 2mm cord would fit, they were happy to just send me a replacement. I appreciated that. I'm saying it here not to embarrass anyone, but if that's a policy, then so much the better for everyone. I got the 2mm cord and my necklace piece fit perfectly over it. That was back in September, so I've been using it almost every day for about 5-6 months. It's worked beautifully. Hasn't snapped, in spite of any accidental yanking. Hasn't come off accidentally even once. The cord is comfortable and lightweight on top of clothes and underneath them. Has some friction so doesn't slide or flop around like a chain does. The clasp is occasionally a little tricky to work (the two pieces have to be held within a certain range of angles when connecting), trying to find the button on the back of your neck, and the weight of the clasp compared to the cord causes it to slide to the front of the necklace over time. Honestly, that's no big problem -- it's easy to readjust, and it's a helluva lot easier to work than most normal clasps. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase. I likely would've been even if they hadn't given me the replacement for free. As it is, I have two good cord necklaces, and if I needed to replace either of them, I'd almost certainly buy another. My only caveat is that detail about making sure that you can actually fit your necklace item past the clasp*. If that's no problem, then by all means, buy one. * Eyeballing it against a ruler, I'd say the thickness of the clasp on the 2 mm cord is ~4 mm, and presumably the one on the 3 mm is something like 5-6 mm. (If the vendor reads this, please do include the clasp diameter if that's possible. It may only help a couple people in a thousand, but it certainly wouldn't hurt anyone. Thanks again.)
