Good price, large pack, nice taste, heat about right
This is good, and perfectly comparable in heat, flavour and quality to the Cajun seasoning sold in small jars by most supermarkets whether as own-brand or branded beginning with S.I'm very pleased with it, but in reality it does cost 5% more than buying more-or-less the same thing from Aldi in (many) small jars so you have to be heavy user to make it worthwhile for the home, but it's a lot cheaper than non-discount supermarkets will sell. It's a chefs ingredient in a restaurant size pack so is delivering what's intended and is perfect for a heavy user like me. I would definitely buy Chef's Larder spices from Amazon again.

Great product, VFM!!
Great tasting cajun spice, and really good value for money! I always use this particular brand. My only 'gripe' is that it NEVER comes as dry, free pouring powder. Even upon first opening, it is clogged together as though it has been in a damp atmosphere, and has to be broken up into a powder. Having said that, I still like it and have bought it 3 times!

Excellent stuff
Warm and very flavoursome. I've used it to make Cajun chicken wraps by sprinkling onto chicken breast cooking in the pan and as the spice mix for chunky chilli con carne.Recipe, serves 8 - sweat chopped onions in a little oil or low calorie cooking spray until translucent, brown 1200g beef chunks, add to onions then sprinkle 3 tablespoons Chef's Larder Blackened cajun seasoning on and stir. Add mushrooms, peppers, 2 beef & 1 veg stock cubes plus 2 tins chopped tomatoes (or a mix of chopped and passata) 3 tins chilli beans (or mixed beans). Bring to the boil. Cover and cook in oven at 140C for 2 1/2 hours checking occasionally - leave the lid off for a while if there's too much liquid. Serve with boiled basmati rice.

Lovely cajun flavour
Friend bought this in Makros ages ago for me when I asked.him to some some cajun. My go to powder to add a bit of flavour or kick to something. After running out tried all the ones in shop but they all lack in flavour peronally...plus expensive for small pots.Luckily this is on amazon so can get it now.

The perfect addition if you like Cajun chicken sandwiches or chilli con carne
Have bought this seasoning many times. Essential for making Cajun chicken baguettes or a quick bean chilli. It’s got a full flavour, spicy but not overly so. The tub lasts us about a year as a family of four so good value. Will be buying again that’s for sure!
