While waiting for the chair to arrive, I decided to read what others had to say. I began to think I had made a huge mistake. When the chair arrived I began looking at all the assembly steps and various pieces involved. Wow, can I do this. I got worried about it. I called a friend to help me as two adults were recommended for easier assembly. When we actually got started all the negative reviews ceased to be a concern. Assembly was quite simple in fact. If you read the instructions before you start, pay attention to details, and have patients it goes smoothly. After assembly I found this chair to be very sturdy and comfortable. Some reviews complained about the chair back being stiff and hard. In truth the chair forces you sit with good posture and supports your back very well which is ultimately less fatiguing when sitting for long periods of time.I love the heat and massage functions, and find them very soothing. In my opinion it is a very nice chair for the money. I'm guessing it will be good for several years.

I was going to look at a furniture store to find a new recliner but then I found this on Amazon! I wanted one without an electric switch because the recliner I had had a very slow rate of reclining and unreclining, and the switch wouldn't work with my finger anymore. I had to stab it with a stylus without the rubber tip. This recliner has all the features of my old one and more. It was easy enough to assemble, although a step or two weren't included in the instructions. Be aware of the Velcro on the bottom of the sidearm covers. Stretch the cover into place then take off the cover over the Velcro and attach it to the underside of the arms, as far inside as you can so it's not visible. My arm covers were mis-identified as right and left, but it was easy to catch the mistake. It did take me more than the advertised 15 minutes to assemble but that wasn't a big deal for me. Once the assembly was done the chair looked and felt fantastic! I also don't need the extra neck pillow that I had to have on my old recliner. I do have my old cover on the chair for summer so my bare skin doesn't stick to the leather. Also be aware, as mentioned in the description, that unreclining and returning the leg rest to the bottom of the chair does take a little muscle. I still like it better than the slowness of my old one. I also love the massage feature, which others have noted, is vibration. It still feels good to me. I haven't tried out the heat feature yet because I'm always hot. I also like the rocking and swivel action that I didn't have before, as well as the cupholders. This recliner is well worth the extra tax and shipping!

I installed it without even reading the manual. Because it's quite heavy, it requires two people to move. The chair is spacious, and the black leather is nice and soft and comfortable. You can also plug it in for a full-body vibration massage. It looks impressive, and the chassis rotates 360 degrees. It can handle my 200-pound weight and is very sturdy. It's an excellent value, perfect for the price.

We replaced our reclining sofa with 2 of these. This way, since I am so much heavier, we can change out one when it gets worn out. These things are nice. Great leather feel. They glide, and spin, and fully recline. You will also want to get one of the headrest pillows sold on Amazon. The massager is pretty decent. My wife says hers does heat a little, but I don't feel anything. Consistency is a weak spot. As noted, we got two. Despite being bought at the same time, they were delivered a week apart. The first one was very soft and comfortable. The second one is stiffer. I am using that one, hoping my girth will break it in quickly. The features function well, but are not always a good thing. I am easily spun around due to the slightest wind will spin it. Getting out is hard because the glider feature causes it to dip front and back. My mother was thrown out because the momentum of her swaying back and leaning over the get something flipped the recliner The part that makes the least sense is the assembly. Why they don't pre-assemble the arms is ridiculous. While the final product looks fine, you get to spend an hour seeing the minimal quality. You get to screw various parts of particleboard together. Screws are not lock-tite coated, so will likely come undone quickly. Lastly, you pull over a leatherette cover. I spent the hour with plenty of time to contemplate my poor decision. I may not appreciate the shipping costs, but believe it would have been better to assemble these at the factory and create finished arms instead of getting to build your own. Yet, again, the final product looks good and has held up for the last month. I think the parts of the chair sliding together is done well. Longevity is questionable. I do not expect the zippers under the armpads to last because you put a lot of force on them to get out of the chair. But, at the price, not a regret, yet

This product arrived packaged very well. Assembly was very intuitive and easy. The operation and function of the control module is very user friendly. The heating levels are satisfying as well. Once assembled the quality and sturdiness is very solid. I purchased this for my grandsons and their gaming room; they love the reclining and size of the chair. And of course, after they leave, I'm left with the ease cleaning the chair up.

was skeptical about buying a chair unseen, that too a recliner. But the other reviews encouraged me to buy (not just 1 but 2) for my home theater. putting it together was a breeze. we've been enjoying it the last several weeks. reclining ability is very nice, in-seat massager with heat is awesome (we are looking forward to spending winter nights in the basement, watching movies, with this heater on). so far the chair feels sturdy, hopefully it'll be this way for years to come. haven't had to clean it much, but a paper towel has been doing the trick. will recommend to friends and family.
