Le Creuset Signature Large Knob, Light Gold

Le Creuset pieces are works of art. Adding a gold knob makes them even better and more beautiful to display on the stovetop. I love this. I'm replacing all my Le Creuset knobs with gold.

Make sure you really look at light gold vs gold. These light gold look like tarnished aluminum. Sent them back and ordered the true gold

I assumed, as the factory Le Creuset knob is solid, that this one would be too. Somehow the metal knob weighs less than the factory one. It’s hollow and that was disappointing, though once it is on the lid it makes not difference as the lid weighs enough for both it and the knob. I was expecting a hefty metal object, but so far it’s has held up to several 500 degree plus temperature cycles so I guess the thermal mass is the important part.

This was a bit pricey but installs easily. I replaced the knobs on my dutch oven so I could bake sourdough at higher heat!
