Work great
I absolutely love these I have now installed them on two cars and they work great. They are a simple design and are easy to install.

Firmed up my sagging Jeep rear
I have had these air bags before on my Suburban, and found them very useful for over 10 years. Lately, I am finding myself towing many things on a trailer for my kids using my Jeep Wrangler. Oak tree pieces are heavy! Anyway, these bags installed pretty easily, and the components are all good quality. The instructions were specific to the Jeep, but they could be a bit more detailed with hose routing suggestions and heat shield placement. I also have a third row installed in my Jeep JKU, so it can get a bit heavy in the back with just 6 passengers, so this will help with that sag too. This kit is the best thing I have found for firming and raising up the rear of the jeep for a more controlled feeling while towing.

Helps stabilize the load
Works well. A little tough to install and get clamps on but worth the effort.

Great kit, not so easy to install!
Let me start off by saying this kit is meant for stock springs on your JK Jeep. Our Jeep has a 2.5 inch Rusty’s off-road kit and it was a huge pain to install! But that’s not airlift’s fault. The springs that came with the lift kit have coils that are much closer together so it was extremely difficult to get the bags inside them. I feel confident they won’t come out of the springs! Luckily they make a quality product as the bags are very sturdy and should handle some abuse. The lines were adequate to run from each side to its final destination inside of the Jeep’s license plate frame. Comes with everything needed to install but the clips that you used to attach once you get the hoses over the barbs are flimsy. Be careful not to bend them!

Great addition for most vehicles
I've used these airbags for over 25 years on many different vehicles. This time one bag was a different size then the other.

Up, up and away
So we just purchased our second RV (Passport 2650bh.) Whiling trying to get it home with our 2012 Jeep Call of Duty 6 speed manual we noticed we were slightly sagging in the rear and the jeep's shocks had no give at all making for a very bumpy ride. My hubby took his search to the internet to hopefully find an inexpensive solution to our problem and ended up on Amazon's site. He sent me the link to this product and told me to buy them (something I don't hear from him very often) He installed them himself one Saturday afternoon. Although my hubby is pretty handy, he said anyone could do this as a DIY project. He said the thing that took the longest was determining where the air pump line would run underneath to make sure it was not rubbing up against the exhaust pipes. He decided to drill through the rear driver's side fender to install the valve stem for the air hose. It looks like it came factory. He pumps it up with an electrical air pump and uses a simple tire gauge to assess the amt of pressure needed. He says the pressure is all the up @ 35 psi when in tow and 5 psi while day-to-day driving. Now about functionality... These Air Lifts really work. Before the lifts, I was getting car sick on the way from the RV dealership from all the bouncing that was going on. After the lifts, on our maiden voyage towing the RV we were up, up and away. We are sitting pretty, no more sagging in the rear and the shocks are working again to absorb the road bumps. For the cost, the outcome and ease of installation (according to my hubby) we are very happy with this purchase. Go RV'ing... Jeep life 4ever!

Blew a bag after two short trips, but great customer service.
I've had this system on a Wrangler JKU for about a month and a half so far. We've taken two short camping trips with our 2,170lbs trailer with this airbag system installed. The positive: It helps dramatically by lifting the rear of the Jeep back up when towing. It's also very easy to install (although I deliberately installed this upside down because their way doesnt make sense). The negative: After the first trip a bottom spacer fell out, but airlift sent a new one for free (they are now secured with zipties). After the second trip, the system wouldnt hold air. I found that a bag was leaking due to a hole in the side. I don't over inflate the bags, and haven't been off-road with them. But once again airlift sent a new one for free under waranty. Overall, after such a short time with this installed, it doesn't seem like a very sturdy system. Blowing a bag after two short trips is obviously not what anyone is looking for. I'm not sure this system can be depended on for long distance or long term. But airlift's customer service and warranty is great. Fixing the broken parts is easy as well. I'll be adding a weight distribution hitch to my trailer for longer trips now because I don't trust the airbags to hold up.

Works great on my 2013 JK.. over 500 lbs of payload, inflated to its maximum 35 psi and the jeep still rides smooth and steady like when it's empty... 30 mins easy installation

Only 4 stars as Air Lift needs better detailed instructions. Works great once installed. Took me a few hours as I had some challenges and had to call Air Lift and Teraflex for clarifications. Instructions made it seem like there'd be room to play with once bag is in coil. Not with a 2017 JKU Rubicon! My advice is before expanding the bag after inserted into coil, attach the aire lines, clamps and protector puck. Otherwise there is absolutely no room to move the bag to top of coil to allow space for adding the puck and connecting the air lines or you're screwed. Air Lift should really put notes in instructions here to assist as oppose to wasting time via trial and error myself. I also added a thin rubber pad at the top so bag is not pressing directly at top of coil. Air lift only provides puck for bottom. Many say for JKs to reverse the bag with line coming out at top. I didn't and it works well coming out at bottom. The air line will go down through an already made factory hole and out to axle then run to bumper or compressor. Anyone who has the Teraflex leveling kit already installed, note you have to cut the bump stop in the coil that came with teraflex kit. Reciprocating saw with a 10" wood blade did the trick (for reaching the bump stop inside the coil). At max 35 PSI the Jeep also raises ~ 1" as well.

Install was much easier than I had originally thought. The air hose connecting to the fittings is super tight so add a drop of dish soap and it slides in much easier. The clips are not the best quality so when pinching them just be extra careful so as not to bend them. Have had 12 lbs in them since install two weeks ago and still up at 12 lbs. I have not hooked up the boat trailer yet, end of season, so cannot comment on how they are once weight is put on them, but based on how things have gone I am sure they will take the weight easily. In addition the bonus of putting 12 lbs in the bags has raised the back end and taken away the sag Jeep wranglers tend to get with original suspension and it handles corners way better. Still not a sports car but handles much tighter. I went with using the T with one valve and not two. Very Impressed.

This kit is actually awesome! When I do some Overlanding with my Jeep I put a lot of stuff in the back and it also helps supporting the weight of my rooftop tent. Had minor trouble inserting those inside the rear coils for the first one, but the other one was easier. Also note that I don’t have the original springs as I have a lift kit installed. I also had to install the balloons the other way around as the hole to pass the connecting line was under the bed and not over the axle. I like the adjustability as you can put less or more air depending of your needs. The only question is will it pass through the winter or resist abrasion from the coils? Time will tell I guess… Anyway, worth the investment in my opinion si ce the price is not abusive.
