Overall very nice lamp
The base is quite cheap for the price of the lamp, the finish being a bit iffy and mine had a chip on it that had been varnished over (received a small refund for it). This is a stock image by Amazon and the lampshade was slightly different to that in the image. In my opinion the lampshade I received was a better shape than the one in the image, not so harsh in its dimensions. The ceramic lamp itself is beautiful. I have decided to repair the chip in the base and paint it a gloss black hopefully improving it. An expensive lamp to receive with slight damage, made it look like a second.
