First released in the West in 2014, Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed brings the vampire-slaying action-RPG to the Nintendo Switch for the first time as the Director's Cut. This new edition features all the awesome otaku content from the previous release, including the original game's DLC, plus an all-new story route focusing on the lovable Finnish maid Kati Raikkonen, complete with all-new voice over in Japanese and English featuring the original cast. Fight like a nerd to defend Akihabara from the diabolical "Synthisters," vampires that can only be defeated by stripping them down to their bare essentials. Boasting multiple story routes, a unique combat system in which everyday objects become weapons, and a narrative dripping with social satire and subtle nods to Japanese pop culture, Akiba's Trip is a present-day supernatural adventure for the Japanophile in all of us.

A fun game set in Japan's Akiba
Still trying to finish the game so don't consider this a full review.I had a wonderful family trip to Japan last year and Akihabara (Refered as AKiba by the cool kids) was for sure a high light. The game Akiba's trip is appealing to me as it's set in Akiba and the map is fairly accurate to stores willing to participate. I get to relive my momments walking around the streets in Akiba district altho the in game character has more goofy outfits than what I was wearing. At least it's always sunny....The game play is fun and absurd which is what I enjoy from video games. Kinda like TOmb Raider is a girl running around in the wild weaing shorts and a tank top with triangular boobs. THe main character interacts with other teens in Akiba's Trip. And the battle system consists of stripping vampires to get them exposes to sun light and that make's the game Akiba "strip". A brilliant play on wordsThe day 1 edition comes with I think stickers or post cards that may or maybe be exclusive to this box set. For the most part I'm just happy with the soundtrack CD included. To me growing up in the 90s and early 2000s. I didn't know any soundtracks being released for my favorite games. So CDs of the game included is a welcome addition for me.The

Handheld Classic Return
This game was originally released for the PS Vita many years ago and now it returns in a "Director's Cut" format! Getting this on the Nintendo Switch brought back memories of playing the Vita version, specially when playing in handheld mode on the OLED Switch. Now with new extra content for this version it was great to get! This Day One Edition came with a CD Sountrack and a set of art cards which were also nice. For me it's just great to get a physical copy of this as I also have a copy of the previous game on the Switch, so I just had to get this, which is also the better game out of the two!
