Good product. Does things I didn't even know it could do and I things I didn't know I needed.
This is a great little product for the money. I moved from a ten year old monoprice 8 port switch that cost me a couple hundred dollars back then. Monoprice made and still makes good products, but this old one isn't 4K and it's showing signs of pending failure, and I didn't want to spend that kind of money again. Saw this one and decided to give it a go. I didn't need 8 ports. So I decided on the 5 port model. Right out of the box it's clear this is a pretty decent quality. It's got good weight to it. Most of the switches you get at "Worst Buy" or other big box-ers just feel cheap. This one doesn't feel that way. I have 'never' been a fan of these remotes that are smaller than a business card with those flat buttons. They break in about a month. This one does come with a remote that size, but it's a sturdier build, actuall rubber buttons, very basic, and it works well at fairly decent range. That being said, I guarantee you I'll lose it. So, I taught my learning remote (Sofabaton is my go-to) to learn the functions of the included remote and I put the original in the drawer. It's there if I need it. Setup was very simple, as expected. There was one thing I never liked about my monoprice. It didn't auto-switch when it got signal. I didn't realize this one did that, and I love it! Now, I've got this plugged into a Samsung 70 inch Crystal UHD TV. Samsung is notorious for short-changing you on HDMI inputs. This TV is great, but it's only got two HDMI inputs, hence the need for the switch. In Port 1 I have my roku device. In port 2 I have this switch with my blu ray, game systems, and PC/Laptop on it. I did that because the TV itself will always auto-switch to the most recent signal it picks up. My wife can hit the home button on the Roku remote and no matter what I left it on, it'll kick over to the Roku. This switch, though....it's got some magic to it. If I'm on the Roku input....and the switch is powered off, and I turn on any one of those devices hooked to the switch, this switch will power-on, auto select the source, then kick it over to the TV which with auto-select that input on the TV. I love it. Money well spent.

Worked flawlessly and drives long cable
This 4 Port HDMI switch worked flawlessly and the output is driving a 35 foot flat HDMI cable (Into a new Hisense 55 inch TV) for great Blue Ray video performance (even though the instructions say "keep the cables short"). No HDMI repeater/booster was necessary. The auto-switching function works very well as it detects and switches over to an HDMI source that has just been turned on, and this can easily be overridden by using the push button panel switch (or the remote, which I have not yet tried). It replaces a 3 input port switch which was unable to drive the 35 foot cable (and did not auto-detect) . I am quite happy with this switch as it turned out to be quite "plug and Play". One thing that should be noted is that it absolutely does require the use of the included 5 volt AC adapter as it apparently does not use the 5V source supplied within the HDMI standard via the cable. In my mind, this is an advantage anyway for reliability. It is packaged in a very solidly constructed metal enclosure that can be sturdily mounted with four #4 screws. I am currently using three of the four available input ports.

great video, 60hz smooth. spdif EDID audio issue
I am very happy with this matrix as far as video is concerned, as the other ECO (more expensive one) gave me hard time. This takes apple TV 4k like a charm. My Laptop mkv files also works great, my very old karaoke system with less than 720p resolution also have no issue. Great matrix for VIDEO. Most importantly HERTZ understanding is great and take 60hz smoothly, crisp picture. Problems lies in audio. I use matrix SPDIF connected to my veryyyy old Bose lifestyle which doesn't support DD"PLUS" 5.1 (It does support DD 5.1). So if i keep edid to 5.1 and if the file from laptop is DDP5.1 = NO SOUND. If file is non-plus DD = plays audio fine. Yes, i have to get up, change edid to 2.1 and it works and outputs 2.0 (no button on remote to change 5.1 to 2.1 channel). I tried auto edid, to no resolution. I dont use arc. So i am stuck on, changing edid often from 5 to 2 and vice versa depending on my file audio format. Now about my very old JTech matrix, when kept on 5.1 setting, if the file is DDP, my bose does get the audio signal and since it doesnt understand the format, it played in 2.0, atleast i could hear something. In this matrix no sound and my bose display blinks from TV to PCM every second. Overall i am satisfied.

it does not work with any and all Apple Inc. I took this as a Hotel Conference projector set-up. With the rest of them, it works Except for the new model of Lenovo Laptop you have to change the project to Extended.

quality is not good... when seeing the video... if you check the direct HDMI clear video but with this unit.. no good. don't recommend it.

I've been using the unit a couple of weeks now, and unlike other switchers I've tried for the same setup, it works consistently and reliably. I'm not taking advantage of 4K (yet), just 1080p. I just wanted a simple switcher to share one HDMI port on the TV between a Nintendo Switch and PS4 but with room to add more devices. Other products I tried had issues with the screen flickering black occasionally or losing the audio. The Roofull worked right away, and has had no problems. I haven't even used the remote at all, as the auto-switching has worked perfectly.

ordered one from Amazon, hooked up with only 4 ports, cable TV, Apple TV, Android box & Blueray player, every devices are working expected but strange images happened from the 2nd port, images flickering with ghost images randomly few times, the issue gone after switching the ports around. problem still exists. Informed the seller and immediately they sent me a new replacement then it works fine so far after one week. Good job done. this device worths the value, I recommend this device with confidence.
