This seems to be a very good solution for feeding analog stereo signal from my bedroom TV's RCA audio outs, through a 40 ft run of headphone extension cable, to my new headphones. After laying out the cable and screwing around with making all the connections, there was NO audio signal from the right side (the left was totally adequate). I started the return process with Amazon, only to get up the next morning and try everything again. Apparently, I failed to make at least one positive connection, because the right channel eventually began to work properly. I lay the blame squarely on user error, not this adapter, and maybe a wee bit of blame on the Scotch whiskey the night before. It's a perfect length for my purposes, and the screw-on metal connector covers add a really high-end look. Once I got everything up and running, I am totally pleased with this link in my overall configuration. Good product, at a great price!
