Spear tip adapter works to swap points with other sizes for my speargun.

This fits great on a Mapex cymbal stand (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FL042I0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to convert it to 8mm, so I could mount a Vater practice pad. The only downside is the price... I could buy 500 of these for about the same price and sell 499 of them.

As the photos show there is as shoulder and a pocket on the shaft and in the spear respectively. The shoulder and pocket must engage in order to relieve the stress on the tread. Without it, side force applied by the speared fish may snap the 6mm tread. That happened to me but once, I quickly learned from my mistake. The 6mm tread is cut so shallow that I could not drill a pocket into the tread in order to make the pocket. I returned this.

I have two different drum practice pads that screw on to a stand. This adaptor worked so that I can use both pads on the same stand.

Highly recommended. Great quality. Means you can use spearpole tips on a 6mm speargun like the jbl explorer series... very deadly... turned my jbl explorer into something closer to a blender chopping pest goldfish in the lake into pieces.
