This book covers the history & design of "choppers" and also has a pretty complete catalogue of military 'copters with all stats & very nice color photos! An excellent reference

Very educational. I was looking for another world encyclopedia books ( I already had the submarine book). I am a very big book worm and I love getting myself lost in books.

Was better than I thought it would be! If you are a aviation fan you will enjoy this book, a section is about the history of helicopters and basic operation, and then a section on the helicopters

Good read been after a Helicopter book for ages gives you just basic description and history buts it's still way better then anything else that I've found, especially for the early 1950's and 1960's stuff
