This really worked on my dry irritated gritty eyes. It’s a thickish gel and stays put. Didn’t sting. Normally I wake lots during the night with very sore and blinking sensitive eyes and nothing I’ve used before has eased it for long. Received this yesterday and I put this in before I went to sleep and only woke up once and needed a reapplication to have an uninterrupted night. Eyes felt hydrated and rested next morning. So pleased to have found this. Highly recommend

Over the four years since I first started suffering from dry eyes both my doctor and optician have given me prescription after prescription and nothing has helped, some made things worse. I have slowly bought many ones that are available over the counter and again none helped and some made things worse and I am on waiting list to get an appointment to see an eye specialist but because of virus have been told it could now be a couple of years and both my optician and doctor had told me they were worried as flares were happening more and more often and pain in eyes, especially left eye was so bad at times all I could do was lie in the dark as my eyes become photosensitive when flare hits even if they just feel uncomfortable and longest time was 4 days when I could not let the slightest glimmer of light on my eyes so they said I had to go to A&E as they were worried I was getting inflammation or even an ulcer or worse as with delay for ordinary appointments it was the only way they felt I could see an eye specialist sooner and they were worried I could end up losing my eye sight if I waited until I did receive an appointment. I was not using my eyes for much for anything up to two weeks at a time as if I tried it would start the pain again and was beginning to think I may end up having to learn to do things without my eyes even though I did have eyesight. So I was slowly going through all the creams, drops and gels on here and I came next to Siccasan Intensive Dry Eye Gel with Carbomer and Dexpanthenol and from the first drop I had some relief - not earth shattering but for a short time my eye felt less dry although took a few days before pain eased but I have continued using this every day - 3 -4 times a day, not wanted to try the one without Dexpanthenol. I am just finishing my third tube and my flares are becoming much less painful and passing quicker. I don't know if this will keep my dry eyes from becoming worse while I wait to see specialist or at least slow down the damage caused by the dryness but for the moment for the first time in years I feel I have some hope and relief. I admit I am worried that us leaving the EU at end of year will affect me being able to buy it as its from Germany so trying to work out finances so I can buy a stock in, obviously not to much as the shelf life is about a year from when I buy them, unopened of course..

Does what it says and leaves my eyes feeling much better the next morning.

I Brought this to try as I despite being under a ophthalmologist and them prescribing eye drops and creams for my eyes nothing has been helping lately. I suffer from sicca syndrome and have corneal dystrophy. I have to use drops every two hours and when I wake in the morning my eyes are like sandpaper even though I apply the special cream every night before bed. I am now getting frequent eye ulcers from my extreme dry eyes which are incredibly painful, so when I read the reviews I thought it’s got to be worth a try. I am So glad I did. Within 48 hours of applying this gel just two or three times a day(usually I use drops 2 hourly) and my eyes feel fab. No sandpaper in the mornings and my eyes feel more hydrated and less like I need to rip them out. I will put another update after a month of trying but for now I would say don t hesitate, just buy it. Update 26/03/21. I use this every day and am now only needing to place in morning and night. My eyes are no longer like sandpaper and my eyes now have whites as before they were always bloodshot. I will continue to use. Update Nov 2023. I am still using this and have not had a corneal ulcer for over 2 years. I now only use it daily and find this makes the tube last for the month and buy in blocks of 3 months. I have thought about stopping due to the expense but you only get one pair of eyes and decided my eyes are worth the investment. I apply the gel in my eye and then use a damp warm cotton pad across a closed eye in one direction to remove the excess from my eyelash that has come out. It remains far superior to any of the prescription eye gels my consultant prescribes and continue to use this every day.

Besonders jetzt zur kalten Jahreszeit habe ich oft trockene Augen. Dies geht teilweise so weit, dass ich morgens ein richtiges Kratzen im Auge spüre. Einfache Augentropfen bringen mir nur sehr kurze Linderung. Daher habe ich beschlossen, ein Augengel zu testen und habe mir daher das Siccasan Augengel bestellt. Nach zwei Wochen in Nutzung kann ich bestätigen, dass das Gel hält was es verspricht. Meine Highlights an diesem Produkt: - die Geltube sagt mir in der Handhabung deutlich mehr zu als Augentropfen, da die Tropfen auch schon mal neben dem Auge langen oder überdosiert sind und rauslaufen. Das Gel kann ich sehr genau auftragen. - Jederzeit klare Sicht: gegen meine Erwartung bringt dieses Gel keine verschleierte Sicht, es ist also überall problemlos nutzbar, ohne einzuschränken. - Das Auge wird durch das Gel überzogen und geschützt. Das Gel bleibt deutlich länger auf dem Auge als Tropfen, daher habe ich viel seltener ein Trockenheitsgefühl. Das Kratzen am Morgen ist sogar ganz verschwunden.

Me gusta que es denso y alivia el ojo seco..dura la sensación humectante sin lagrimear... especialmente por la noche te permite despertar con el ojo muy bien. Acabo de empezar a usarlo y con dos o tras veces al día es suficiente..el precio me parece bien sobretodo porque es efectivo. Lo único que se podría mejorar es que la primera hora la medida cae exacta pero la segunda es más abundante ya que se presiona durante más tiempo el tubo y sale doble cantidad. Aún así estoy muy sati y lo recomiendo.

Ich leide schon länger unter trockenen Augen, vor allem abends oder nach viel Bildschirmzeit. Siccasan Eye Gel ist bisher das Einzige, das wirklich hilft! Es beruhigt sofort, brennt nicht und die Wirkung hält richtig lange an. Ich benutze es vor dem Schlafengehen und wache ohne das trockene, sandige Gefühl auf. Außerdem ist es ohne Konservierungsstoffe und augenärztlich getestet – das gibt mir ein gutes Gefühl. Für mich hat es echt einen Unterschied gemacht, absolut empfehlenswert!

Ordinato in giorni "difficili" in cui ho fatto fatica a tenere gli occhi aperti per via della mia solita SECCHEZZA OCULARE persistente in questo periodo causata dal caldo, la corrente d'aria presente in casa e l'aria condizionata a palla nei supermercati. Come è arrivato ho dovuto testarlo: HA FUNZIONATO alla grande! La consistenza è quella di un gel, leggermente più liquida ma utile per farlo rimanere nell'occhio più a lungo. Consiglio di chiudere e aprire le palpebre più volte, di spostare lo sguardo in tutte le direzioni mentre ancora si hanno gli occhi chiusi per stenderlo un po' dappertutto. Cerco di usarlo solo all'occorrenza o quando sento che "potrei non arrivare a sera", quindi come "prevenzione" per non arrivare a fine giornata con gli occhi irritati, secchi e che tendono a chiudersi (cosa che mi preoccupava se dovevo guidare per più di 30 min). Offusca la vista per un paio di minuti, quindi da non urilizzare subito prima di uscire o prima di mettersi alla guida. Scrivo raramente recensioni e solo per i prodotti che più mi colpiscono e questo se l'è proprio meritata.
