Works out of the box with Cangaroo CANBUS logger
As received, it worked immediately with Cangaroo, showing up as Candle0 in Windows.

Works as expected
Works well with SLCAN driver, for which I had to make a firmware upgrade. The upgrade is very slow, it takes about 10 minutes, but after the upgrade it worked like a charm.

Works great!
This clone of the Canable does exactly what it's supposed to do. Galvanic isolation appears to be implemented correctly based on some quick tests, communication to other CAN devices, both TX and RX, is fine, and it seems to be compatible with the usual PC tools, notably Cangaroo. Worked well enough that I bought a second identical one.

Works great, supports socketcan
The device ships with candlelight firmware. Immediately recognized as a socketcan device on Linux and captures CANBUS traffic with no issues.

Good, but will get obsolete
The device has very good manufacturing quality, and it comes in a sturdy acrylic case. Works out of the box, no drivers needed. Circuit isolation Is implemented well, and does not affect communications. This adapter is 100% compatible with Canable 1.0, any tool that supports Canable will support this adapter. The only downside is that it is a clone of Canable 1.0 that does not support CAN FD. Modern vehicles are switching to FD as primary protocol, so this adapter will eventually get obsolete. There are still plenty of uses for legacy CAN, and if you want a quality adapter for it, this one is very good.

Great tool for CAN troubleshooting
Update: I have been trying to use this CAN adapter with the suggested software and have not been able to make it work. I used 2 different software programs that were recommended in the instructions and the device has not been able to connect and read CAN messages. I know it's something I am likely doing wrong, but I sent an email to the companies support address more than 2 weeks ago and have not received a reply. This would be a nice tool to help me troubleshoot if I could get it to work, but right now it's useless to me. I order this tool to help me troubleshoot some CAN communication issues that I have encountered on my EV conversion. I needed some type of device that would allow me to capture CAN communication logs to help in troubleshooting issues between the different manufacturers devices. Also to be able to send logs to Technical support for review. This little interface looks to be just what I need, it was easy to set up and connect to my CAN bus. It was also recognized by my Windows 11 laptop as soon as I plugged it in. The suggested trace application installed without issue and will now allow me to see what messaging is actually flowing between the difference devices and assist in getting everything to function as needed.

Adattatore CAN-USB isolato davvero ben realizzato, pensato per un utilizzo professionale o hobbistico in ambienti in cui è richiesta affidabilità nel trasferimento dati su rete CAN. L’isolamento dell’alimentazione è garantito da un modulo B0505S-1WR3, che separa correttamente il lato USB da quello CAN. Per quanto riguarda il segnale, è stato adottato un isolatore digitale PI122M31, che a sua volta comunica con il ricetrasmettitore SIT1040, scelta tecnica molto apprezzabile che riduce rischi di interferenze o danni dovuti a sbalzi elettrici. Il firmware installato si basa sul progetto open source USB2CAN, modificato per garantire piena compatibilità con il protocollo PCAN-USB. Il risultato è un dispositivo plug and play, stabile e immediato da integrare nei propri workflow. Ho avuto modo di provarlo con diversi ambienti di sviluppo e strumenti diagnostici, e non ha mostrato alcuna incertezza o latenza.

Works pretty much out of the box with Linux, seen as a native CAN device (no need for slcand), I was able to read messages from my car on SavvyCAN after failing using a few other solutions
