Mason Pearson BN1 Bristle and Nylon Popular Hair Brush - Ivory

Hype is real. Glad I finally just bit the bullet and got one. I have very long, thick curly hair and it goes through it like butter with absolutely no product in my hair. It’s the only brush out of hundreds in my lifetime that worked on my hair type.

Gorgeous brush. This is it. Perfect, full size, and beautiful color. Accept no substitutes.

A few years ago I noticed that there was quite alot of hair in my hairbrush. Much more than usual. And it terrified me. I even found myself talking about it to a beauty editor I was sitting next to at an event. When I also mentioned that I had only ever used a paddle brush, she shook her head and suggested I invest in a fancy Mason Pearson hair brush asap. Who knew something so simple could change your life?! I’ve now been the proud owner of a Mason Pearson hair brush for the past three years and my hair has never been healthier. Of course, this isn’t a controlled experiment. But I’d go out on a limb and say I’ve notice less breakage, fewer knots and shiner hair ever since Ive been using it. I’ve also had three years completely free of that terrible ripping sound which was so familiar with others. I’ve also managed to grow my hair almost all the way down my back!

I have had long, thick hair for the majority of my life. I have a multitude of brushes - Oribe, Crown Affair, Raincry, etc. Nothing, and I mean, absolutely nothing, beats the Mason Pearson brush. I own this in the Ivory B1 Popular size, and it is phenomenal. I am currently awaiting the arrival of the Black Ruby color in the same size. This brush easily goes through my hair, and it feels amazing on the scalp. My hair is soft and feels so luxurious after brushing with this brush. I can't recommend this enough. Well worth the investment!
