My husband and I started our fertility journey about a year and a half ago. My husband has a rare genetic condition requiring him to be on a specialized medication schedule, limiting our time each month and throughout the year. So the push to learn about my monthly cycle was very needed. I gathered a lot of different fertility tracking materials. One of the others I had, mentioned in the daily section Proov PDG. I was like, what is that? I did my research and discovered the proov sets. I quickly settled on the Proov complete kit as it tested four of my hormones throughout my cycle, showing me the most comprehensive picture. Proov complete tests your FSH (follicule stimulating hormone) and ovarian reserve; it tests your E1G which is your estrogen hormone; it tests your BLH( Beta Lutenizing Hormone) which is what starts to rise and eventually peaks a few days before ovulation; and finally the pdg( progesterone hormone) which rises after a successful ovulation, and is needed to maintain your baby's first few weeks of life. I loved how easy to use the app was, all I needed to do was pee first thing in the morning and then use the test strip, dip it in for a few seconds, put it on the included card in the correct direction ( the card labels the direction) and wait 10 minutes. It was even nice that the app included a timer. I did discover quite quickly that you couldn't go off the timer screen, or let your phone go dark or you would lose the timer. So I know use my phones timer, just so I can multi task in the morning. When the 10 minutes are up the app directs you on taking a picture, and then analyzes your results and gives you an immediate response, on a color coded chart. It also let's you know if you found the specials like your peak LH surge or your Pdg is rising and more! I find it so very easy to use and so informative and helpful for knowing about my cycle. The app also has helpful hints for foods, mind and spirit at the different times of your cycle! Recently they updated the app, and it is even better! I would highly recommend this product if you are beginning your ttc part of life!

If you don’t know where to start I 100000% suggest this home kit! You are able to see all your hormones and track each cycle! Not only that it confirms ovulation! And at the end of each month it gives you suggestions! I even use the progesterone now too! I love having the peace of mind to see the charts and compare and to know that my tests are accurate! And best part they have a Facebook group to ask questions! Wish I knew about this years ago so I could understand my body better.

This system helped me get pregnant in one cycle when I’ve struggled with infertility for over 3 years. It is FDA approved and helps give you a little insight into what your body is going through! Ive always had irregular periods, which contributed to not being able to get pregnant. I had an ectopic pregnancy last year as well. So imagine my face when at the end of the first cycle using Proov, I showed up pregnant!! I am now 5 weeks along and everything seems to be going well. These multi test strips are easy to use and easy to read. You pee on a stick once a day, and it gives you all your results. While the accuracy is a little questionable, it is mostly correct and if you’re watching the overall trend of your tests, it will be much more helpful than the actual numbers. Take the data with a grain of salt. All of the tests strips worked well, so this is a great quality system. I used 2 packs of the Complete to assess my hormones. I took the other tests outside of the testing window when I felt I needed to see what was going on. But I’m pregnant! I would highly suggest giving these a try- plus it’s FSA eligible!

Update: I found what appears to be FDA study online and it was conducted on MEN! Buyer beware. Opinion: this product does not inform factual data about women’s health. Also, according to their website, they do not provide refunds despite their product failures until [you've spent $800 over] 8 months on their product. Ridiculous. It seems like they’re profiting from selling falsehoods. I rarely write reviews but women’s health is something to be taken seriously. I took this test concurrently with two of its competitors as well as blood tests to identify my levels, and determine which test would provide the most accurate results going forward. This test did not accurately predict my LH surge nor my LH peak, despite pre-mom and clearblue accurately predicting and identifying my LH peak, and therefore ovulation. It may have captured some of the other numbers at times, but the majority of the time they were not spot on as I did blood tests as well. This test was by far the most expensive of the ones that I tried. Even worse, it inaccurately told me that my fertile window was over the course of two weeks. Only to tell me 4 days after the fact that I had ovulated. It’s frustrating to pay $100 for a test to just predict something that a regular calendar could’ve done with basic, general period math. In fact, basic calendar math would have more accurately predicted my fertile window, ironically and for free. It did not tell me that I had a peak until four days after it thought I may have had a peak in my LH - that was equally as frustrating. Now, I would like to talk about the ease of use for this product. Of all of the products, I tried one was the most cumbersome. The app does not tell you which test to take until the day of. This may sound like no big deal. However, your guided to use first morning urine. Meaning, that if you wake up at 6 AM you need to use that urine to test - that’s pretty standard. No big deal. Except, you will not know if it’s an actual test today until you open the app. So you could have peed and not needed to, or you could have discarded the urine when you actually needed it. Admittedly this actually happened to me. It’s a lot to figure out half awake. Then you are required to wait 10 minutes for the results to appear. In my experience, the test did not look or appear fully developed within that 10 minute window so that made me question the accuracy of the results as well. Additionally, 10 minutes is excessive compared to its competitors as most of the competitors require 3 to 5 minutes, some may be 5 to 10. Again, in my opinion, 10 minutes can feel like a very long time first thing in the morning. So, to me, it is a very slow test that did not seem worth the wait as the results did not appear accurate much of the time. All in all, I’m thankful that I had the ability to test with other competitors and blood test contemporaneously with the Proov test. Otherwise, I may have missed my fertile window, ovulation day… or, even worse, the results may have indicated that something was wrong hormonally. Not everyone has the ability to purchase multiple test and take them. That can be a very costly and time-extensive journey. In my opinion, this test is way too expensive and inaccurate for the cost. I caution others to take its results with a pinch (no, a pound) of salt, and to consider that just because it costs more does not make it more effective. Perhaps it’s because this test is trying to do too much at once. Perhaps it’s because of another reason, however, don’t invest too much into it mentally, emotionally, or even financially unless it works for you. I am writing this with the hope that this will help other women, and raise awareness to aid in getting these issues resolved.

I've had been trying to understand my hormones outside one timepoint blood tests from my doctors. Technically hormonal tests are considered "fertility" and not covered by insurance. Ah, the American Dream. I specifically bought these tests in bulk during prime day and black friday - fantastic deal! I ended up with enough tests for 6 cycles for a fullest picture. Still cheaper than one blood test from doctors... You utilize Proov with a free application. The complete kit shows your egg reserve, fertile period, progesterone and estrogen levels. I emailed customer service and received a customized response in less than 24hrs with questions my first cycle. Personally, I didn't enjoy waking up around the time everyday with first morning urine for these tests. However, they helped me to get a medical diagnosis and assist with baby making. I ended up buying Proov progesterone oil that helps to increase progesterone naturally, which helped with my PMS and mood swings. While the kits can assist with pregnancy, I didn't find this to be the case for me. My fertile window was still off by over a day and Kegg is what finally helped within two ttc cycles.

I’ve used this twice. 1st time I was able to track my ovulation very precisely. I followed the LH surge and knew I conceived even before the positive pregnancy test. It was fun to use and taught me a lot about the hormones needed to get pregnant and sustain a pregnancy. I learned my progesterone was a little low so I supplemented with some oils from the company. I used it recently to try to conceive again. I haven’t gotten pregnant yet. But it was a good refresher to see how I was ovulating and learn about my ovarian reserve since I am over the age of 35. According to Proov my hormone levels are where they need to be to sustain a pregnancy so now it’s just trying every month.

I have purchased these 17 times. I love the insights report you get at the end of the cycle. I also love that you can connect with a doctor for prescriptions for fertility aid prescriptions. These are super easy to use and the app keeps everything organized for you. They are a little pricey but it is a lot less expensive than having labs done. I think they are pretty accurate as I definitely have a trend from cycle to cycle. I’ve had blood draw labs match up pretty closely to my Proov results. These tests also helped me discover that I have estrogen dominance.

This system has been really helpful to track hormone levels and help monitor my cycle. It only requires an app and a camera! The team has been great with troubleshooting any issues and I love how portable this concept is to make fertility montoring easy regardless of when and where you need to test.
