We needed another means of heating our conservatory. I wanted something more than just a wall heater so opted for this feature fire place. The heating specs of this fireplace matched more than adequately for the size of our conservatory. Fire place came well packaged and protected which fortunately meant it was not damaged during transit and delivery on opening. Installation was done with ease. Fire place is also designed to be wall hung which was what I wanted. Once provided wall bracket was measured up accordingly, level and secured to my brick wall you simply just lift the fire place onto the bracket and then secure the two side fixing screws in place, there is also a small bottom bracket but the main bracket is more than adequate. I finished off this installation with some trunking to hide the power cable. Controlling the fire place is very straightforward using the provided remote control. All features of the fire place worked as designed. Heating from the fire place is pretty much instant once you select your desired set point. I have preferred to use the auto heating feature which when selected operates the fire place to work to achieve your chosen heating set point without the need to adjust via the remote. It will cut in and out as required. The various colours are a nice feature and are easily selected via the remote. Heating a conservatory is always a challenge ours is 60% glass panels. This fire place listing states it has an area coverage of upto 30m2 it does struggle to completely heat the cold ambient air in all honesty. For example before turning on the fire place the space temp was 11c, after 4hrs of running the fire place at a 30c set point on the 2000w setting it reached 20c. Another 1hr later and the temp was still sitting at 20c. 9c increase in 4hrs is OK but the conservatory still felt chilly. Fortunately I have a high level wall hung Electric heater, I have found in the cold snaps running both heaters achieves a comfortable ambient temperature. I can then turn off the additional heater and leave the fire place ticking over which manages to maintain a nice comfortable ambient temp. I would assume in a living room for example this fire place would be more than adequate. Overall I am happy with my purchase and it is a nice feature fire place to add to my conservatory.

Bought this as we were building a media wall , all descriptive instructions were spot on and we built the wall before the fire arrived , the fire fitted straight in , very easy to fit , good heat and colours changing with the remote control , will be buying another

Item arrives notice the package had been re taped up a few times. Item plugged in to check it works before we mount it on the wall.. It does not turn on. Tried different socket still nothing. Called HomCom explained that the product doesn’t work thankful we hadn’t mounted it on the wall. HomCom have asked me to make a video proving it doesn’t work since when have suppliers demanded their customers prove that items don’t work before agreeing to collect it for a refund, shocking! I will not be getting a replacement from HomCom , I’ll find it elsewhere. Amazon customer services weren’t much help either
