It took me a while to figure out how to cut the strips for my soles, but once I figured it out I was able to get the process down. The only part of the shoe it doesn’t fit on very well is where the heel meets the rest of the sole. Most shoes have a slight curve at that point and the sole doesn’t lay flat there.

awful. impossible to measure correctly and put onto your shoe. Not worth the time. It makes your shoes look fake and cheap

Not sure what the fuss is about - I didn't find the shoe bottoms difficult to put on at all. It's a little time consuming, sure, but every good craft project is. It took me about 45 minutes per shoe. Maybe it helped that I have a lot of DIY and crafting experience.My shoes had some raise logos on the bottom, so I sanded those down as best I could. I followed the instructions and the previous reviewer's suggestions to cut the bottoms a little larger than the pattern I traced, and used cuticle clippers to cut off the excess.I found them quite easy to smooth on. Any wrinkles were easily smoothed out by blow-drying and pressing firmly. I only had slight bubbling around the center logos - those were easily fixed. I poked a tiny hole in the bubble with a straight pin and pressed the air out. The hole is microscopic and not noticeable. The result is shiny and beautiful, and the shoes look like they were made that way. The treads are nice and grippy. I'm happy with them.I only take off one star because, let's be honest, they're a little overpriced for what they are.

Shipping was fast. But let me start by saying that if you are not somewhat artistic and a little anal retentive then do not buy this. It will be a waste of your time and money because it is difficult to apply in a precise manner. I spent a total of about two hours applying the product and am happy with the outcome. i was also pleased that when I opened the package upon arrival it came with an exacto knife. I this project would have been IMPOSSIBLE without it!!

These were not what I was expecting. They look ok. But they are sooooo difficult to cut perfectly and the sole front has a white inner so when u cut it u see that white on the sides. I ended up having to cut and patch together at least 3-4 pieces. And sorry but no matter what u do w a scissor, it looks jagged and terrible in the outline on the shoe so I carefully went around w a box cutter to make the lines smooth and straight and that worked amazingly well and easily. I didn't realize they we going to be thinner than paper and just a vinyl decal either. I expected a thin gel type quality material. But bottom line...... Make sure to use box cutter if u hv any jagged edges after u cut and apply to shoe. And IF THEY STAY ON..... Nobody can examine the bottom of UR shoes to see u did not get it perfect. I just worry bcs I had to cut it into 3-4 pieces that this will peel up and or tear etc because UR walking on them! If none of that happens, I'm satisfied but not impressed.

Great product need patients and a really sharp blade to apply. Oh and a steady hand.

I tried and failed at putting these on. I was able to stick them on the shoe without an issue but trying to cut a smooth edge with the knife provided is impossible. I then decided to take my backup Red Sole Kit to a Shoe Repair shop to see if they could put them on for me. They wanted to charge me $25 just to try to get them on which he wasn't so certain he could do it. I will try a different Shoe Repair place since the Shoe Repair shop in Factoria, WA always seems to say things are impossible to do.

They were easy to put on as long as you have a sready hand, sharp exector knife and am patient. You can either trace the outline of your sole on the grid guide then transfer to the red applique, or you can apply the Red appliqué directly onto the sole and cut to shape with a sharp knife. My advise is to not remove the Red appliqué completely but to gradually peel it off the backing while you smooth the red appliqué slowly to remove air pockets and bubbles.
