It's very spacious. The box is leakproof. I wish the compartments themselves would be a bit more leakproof. If I put tomatoes in one compartment then the crackers next to them get wet. The box is easy to clean and very sturdy. It still looks new after 5 months of preschool use.

Great for taking lunch on the go, im a big eater and this box has plenty of space.

The nesting piece needs some type of tab to pick it up after it's got food and/or steam all over it. It was slippery and annoyingly hard to pick up to get to the main compartment. I was also looking for something that keeps my food warm for at least 2-4 hours. This doesn't help with that. The size and nesting features are nice though to save on space.

Durable and tight-fitting, used for our kids at school. The box itself is leak-proof to the outside, so you can rest easy knowing it won't leak into your kid's backpack. However, the compartments are not leak-proof between each other, so if you have something wet in one and it gets flipped sideways or upside down it may leak into the other compartments. Our latches fit tightly, in contrast to some reviews. Not too big for a small child yet spacious enough for an older child also. If the bottom compartment were just a bit deeper it might be more convenient to fit in apples or oranges--as it is only very small ones (clementines and tiny apples or apples cut in half) will fit while still allowing the lid to close.

this is a great bento box because it has two layers, but if you only wanna use the one it's deep enough for a salad or a nice meal

I first saw these while visiting my son and daughter in law. She had these lunch boxes. I came home and ordered them as well. These are super durable being stainless steel. They are dishwasher safe, however I’m usually needing them for my next days lunch. If I have a load ready to wash in my dishwasher, then they get washed right along with. But they are so easy to wash by hand as well. The containers are easy to open even with my arthritis. I love the design of them. They work well to use for storing any leftovers as well. Great buy. I use these daily.
