These broke off on my Porsche Boxster when I did not fully disengage the top latch before lower the top. They are meant to break off so further damage is not done to the top mechanism. I helped to watch a YouTube video to get a good feel for what I was doing. You do need to force them onto the steel ball on the shaft and I did the was a thick handle of a paintbrush. That worked well and was small enough to get into the available space. I bought an extra set for the next time I have this issue! This is a cheap fix!

Time will tell. Yes, they fit fine, went on easy enough. But, I'll have to wait for up an d down roof season to know how good they truly are.

Became loose and broke instead of clicking into place.
