OK, the taste, actually something i sorta like. Has a bit of a licorice taste. I bet the vegetative matter would make a nice tea. Efficacy is what i am questioning. It does seem to dull the pain and thats ok, if it isn't a placebo effect...anyways the stones are still firmly busy doing what stones do - hurt like hell. I will add that this is now almost week two and i drink lemon water by the gallons each day more or less. I would say that it isn't as "amazing" for me as what others promise from the product. Lets see what a few more days (currently on day 2.5 of using the elixir) will produce. If it works i will laud its praises from the highest rooftops...right now i am just slightly disappointed. Update Day 5 : changed rating from 3 to 5 stars...i suffered for almost two weeks with no diminishing of pain even after drinking gallons of lemon water...by day 5 of taking this and a product called Stone Free i went back to the gym and just now finished moving heavy stuff in my shop...in other words i am pain free and happy. I gave what was left in the bottle today to a friend who has had kidney pain for the last two years and numerous visits to the doctor have yielded nothing but more pain (a-duh)...3 hours later i got a text saying she was pain free...i have no idea why this works (i am a chemist biologist by training) but the stuff works however i also took Stone free tablets,,,who cares, the pain is gone...can you tell i am happy??? Only complaint is it took forever to get to the house (3 or 4 days) and when you are in pain any time is forever...

OK. No kidney stone history, but just before my 59th birthday noticed reddish brown colored urine, but no pain. To make a long story short, went to a urologist, got bladder scoped in his office, got blood tests and even CT scan with contrast. Bottom line, a 6mm x 8mm kidney stone was the problem. The doctor strongly recommended that I undergo a Lithotripsy procedure to break up this fairly large stone, but upon doing research, I found that the Lithotripsy procedure had several long term risks for other kidney and diabetes problems that I wanted to avoid. Per my research, I began drinking water with fresh lemon juice along with using this product. The very first time I used this product, within two hours, I felt extremely nauseated and vomited. This happened the next day as well. The third day there was pain and nausea at night and then nothing... the stone had apparently moved safely and painlessly in the bladder. A month later the stone passed without pain or incident, but was a nice sized little rock, about the size of the stud gemstone earrings I buy for my wife. I firmly believe this product worked as claimed and helped the stone dislodge from the kidney and move on its way. Not sure how it worked, but it did. Worked fast and helped me avoid costly surgery with potential side effects. Does taste a bit like mild hay or straw extract in the water, so I just chugged it down (small glass with 15 drops in it) to avoid the taste/smell. PS - the nausea was not caused by this product as I was able to use this product after the stone had moved into the bladder with absolutely no ill effects. The nausea was caused by the stone movement from the kidney, through the ureter, etc. which I believe this product helped to trigger.

I tried this other brand. Have used others. Stone breaker is a combination herb, made of several herbs. This is made of the one herb. I am using it to dissolve calcium deposits throughout the body, which I have discovered works, as I used a combination of a series of remedies, including chanca piedra or stone breaker. They are old home remedies, apple cider vinegar and honey 50/50 in water, lemon juice concentrate and olive oil 50/50, black cherry juice concentrate teaspoons under the tongue, and this one taken in water. There were a couple others in the series, a chelation therapy capsule, and anti-microbial tincture made of black walnut, all of these, each an hour apart I used. After I did this--I passed a golf ball size stone in 24 to 48 hours!--and white powder substance that made it obvious it worked. What a doctor, specialist, explained is that calcium carbonate is rock calcium and does not belong in the human metabolism and will form deposits in all kind of wrong places. He said calcium citrate is organic calcium. I started using it and avoid calcium carbonate in anything. What I saw after the remedies was this series of remedies, including this one, dissolve calcium carbonate deposits that don't belong in the body. It is obvious chanca piedra works. I tried this brand, as I had read chanca piedra can dissolve bone spurs. I have a bone spur in an area that appears to be diminishing. So I may have had deposits differing places. It appears to be gradually dissolving the bone spur area. One lump behind my ear dissolved in a week of using stone breaker with chanca piedra and a combination of the other remedies. I see obviously it works. Any that says otherwise is just not with it. If the bone spurs dissolve completely it will avoid invasive surgery. The stone breaker herb combination dissolves different kinds of calcium molecules. This one dissolves a kind apparently I had in one area. It appears to be helping. There had been little granules grinding around in there, a joint, that have dissolved during time using this one daily in water. I have heard testimonies of others that used chanca piedra that dissolved rotator cuff deposits, bone spurs on feet, etc. From what I have experienced I believe it. When I used the series of remedies it felt like fire going through my cardiovascular system and I passed a golf ball size stone in 24 to 48 hours. None will convince me it does not work.

I use this product to help with Kidney Stones. Kidney stones are an everyday part of life for me. I have changed my diet - avoid my most troublesome foods, while this does help to slow down the time-frame of kidney stones, it does not stop them. I have had surgeries and seen my fair share of ER's until finally I stumbled upon this gem! I use this every day as a preventive and when I feel the symptoms of a larger stone I use more frequently through out the day until the symptoms subside. The liquid is way more effective opposed to pill form. I would also suggest not running out if you are prone to kidney stones (I learned the hard way of how quickly stones form when I did).

I was extremely skeptical, but after one surgery for kidney stones & a reoccurrence of stones, I decided to try herbal treatments. I have not had a problem sonce. I have gotten kidney stones again, but after a few days to a week of taking this at least 2x daily, the stones disappear...along with the back & side pain! Yeah!
