This product really dries out my lips and it tastes terrible. It makes everything I eat/drink taste terrible too. I hardly ever use it and it just sits in my cabinet. The color is nice and subtle.

My rating is based on initial impression, and while I comment on price I personally do not rate on price. We all see the price before ordering, we all have different budgets, preferences, prices fluctuate, and so on. U-Beauty is a premium priced brand. Lovely neutral color that should work with anyone. It doesn't deposit much color so I wouldnt bank on this looking like much beyond a shiny glow. Pretty though! Feels great. Love the applicator. Dreamy smooth feel. Not at all sticky. Lips feel instantly hydrated and smooth. While the shine and initial goop wears down quickly, the hydration remains. Lips dont feel parched, lips dont beg for another application (like some glosses, balms create). No warmth or coolness, so not sure what the plumping mechanism is. I dont think it is the type that "plumps" via agitition & irritation (hot ingredients or cooling ingredients). According to the information, this is an overtime thing, as well as resurfacing and redefining. Any initial plumped look comes from the high shine and thick layer that sits on skin (3D effect). After that, I think it is part of the over time effect. I think it has enough going for it that I think it would make a good nighttime product since the key ingredients absorb. Then use this during day one time for the shiny plumped look, though I think that can be achieved by most glosses. The main thing is that the active ingredients are like skin care ingredients and will work over time with consistent use. Probably best suited for mature lips if using as lip skin care product. Overall I like it. Perhaps will update later

This feels very premium and is fun to use. The metal applicator feels nice and cool on the lips. The color is sheer but definitely adds some tint. The formula provides temporary hydration until it wears off, and gives a light plumping effect. This does wear off pretty quickly and feels kind of oily in the lips. For its short term benefits, I really don’t know what the hype is about. I don’t really see a difference between using this vs another lip gloss or balm. I’ll continue to use it though and see if there are the “longer term” benefits that are promised.

I ordered the U Beauty The PLASMA Tinted Lip Compound - Shimmery Brown Lip Plumping Gloss, Hyaluronic Acid & Shea Butter Deeply Hydrate - Salicylic Acid & Peptides Visibly Smooth and Improve Lines, Sunset - 15 mL, and it is a nice neutral and dewy color on my lips. I immediately noticed the metal applicator which makes a really big difference and is soothing. I didn't know I was missing out since I've never tried something with a metal tip on a lip gloss, but it definitely makes a difference. The directions say you can apply it at night before bed if you don't have the tinted one, but I do have the tinted one and I tried it at night on my lips and lip wrinkles. First thing in the morning I went to look to see if it helps. My lip wrinkles appeared half gone over night. I actually have fillers in my lips and above them because of lip wrinkles. I'm not that old, but from years of pursing my lips down when I'm focused or stressed I developed them much earlier than the typical person. When I got my lips filled, it didn't completely eliminate them but made them better. I'm assuming if I went to somebody else they would be completely gone, but I won't get into that. Anyway, because I still have some (two on my right side) I'm always trying to smile when I think of it so I don't make them worse and to hydrate the area. I do wrinkle taping as well but I didn't do it when I was trying this. I would definitely like to try other ones because this is an insecurity of mine and this helped immediately. I love the way my lips feel when it is on as there is so much hydration. I do feel it lasts quite a bit of time. I don't notice my lips visibly plumper in size yet, but I would say the gloss and the hue give the illusion that they are plumper. According to their clinical trials 96% of users noticed fuller lips after 28 days. I don't like the taste as it tastes kind of "chemically". This comes with directions which I am showing in my picture. Overall, I'm intrigued, and I'd like to try more from this product line for sure. It looks like this should last 2 months if applied twice a day. I apply it more, though.. I'll come back and update when I've used it longer. It's not a typical gloss. Give it time.
