Get your seeds (or better trays or plugs) elsewhere. Terrible results.
I bought these before I read the reviews. It is true. These have a horrible germination rate. I followed all of the instructions and even babied these. Becaused they are so tiny I mixed them with sand for even distribution. I winter sowed my first pack of 20,000. Then I re-sowed another pack in early march. Out of 40,000 seeds I may have gotten 10 shots! If you want creeping thyme I suggest you either buy these seeds from a quality source or get trays or plugs!. Love amazon but quality seed is not their strongest product line!

Great success
Keep in mind the seeds are very fine. Mine germinated in 5 days and I would say 100% viable. Now that I have had such good results I am ordering more

Defective products and doing nothing
I planted this product and prepared the ground just as instructions provided added extra soil topsoil weighted at 2 to 4 weeks and not one seed germinated and began to grow this company along with Amazon are passing off defective products and should be made to refund or return all and any monies or aggravation that they have caused I need the Creeping Time to work and do as advertise or money back and I'll go elsewhere to purchase my plans or seeds

Don’t give up on germination
I almost didn’t buy these because some reviews said the seeds didn’t germinate but the plants look so pretty, I had to try. I purchased pink, blue, and purple and got ALL of them to germinate! I covered shallow long box tops with aluminum foil, then filled them with sphagnum moss. THE SEEDS ARE SUPER TINY— almost like dust. I made two long, shallow rows with my finger and sprinkled seeds along each row, and then dusted a small amount of the moss on them. I sprayed each box till the moss was soaked, then covered each box with plastic wrap (for a mini greenhouse effect) and placed them on my porch where they would get morning sunlight. Spring has started here so no night got below 50 degrees. I made sure the moss stayed damp, adding sprays of water when needed. At seven days—nothing. At ten days, a couple of the boxes had bright green sprouts that were so tiny I wasn’t sure they were sprouts. By twelve days there were LOTS of them in each box. I have removed the plastic from all boxes and SO FAR SO GOOD. Will update this when/if they actually are transplantable and grow!

Total Waste
I planted 40,000 of these seeds carefully and followed all directions. What sprouted was definitely not creeping thyme. Instead, I got a bunch of large, fuzzy, weedy plants with no aroma and completely different leaves. Nothing even close to what creeping thyme should look like. Really frustrating — I now have to rip everything out and start over. Feels like a total scam or major mislabeling and sadly I bought two packs. Don’t waste your time or money.

Hardy, self-seeding ground cover
I spent 20 years eliminating my need to mow grass. The final space was along the street curb by the sidewalk. This has been growing well for six years now and appears to bloom at lease twice each season (Zone 7A) with a minimum of watering. It does creep, so I trim it off the sidewalk each October to make snow removal easier. It has been hardy and holds up well under snow.
