I had bought a Yeti this same size on a clearance rack to use for my kids during baseball season. The 2 boys ended up fighting over it. So I found this bottle and it solved my problem. Aside from the drinking part on the lid and the significant price difference, it's almost identical to the Yeti. It keeps ice for long periods of time. It weighs quite a bit when full, so it'll help the boys work on their muscles.

For those of you with common sense, of course this is going to be heavy, its a gallon capacity stainless steel jug. So if you have hand issues or lifting weight issues, dont buy it. Also it wont fit well in my fridge without laying it on its side. Otherwise, works very well. If I fill it with hot tea it usually keeps it very hot for about 18 hours, luke warm by around 24 hours. It tends to keep things cold about the same length of time. If youre buying it for camping or taking to a job site it works great, only thing I would say if you use it on a job site is the top is plastic, so if you accidentally kick it or drop it, it will crack.

I love this thing. I bought a couple because I wanted to bring soup with me as well as I wanted to bring a cold salad. It’s so wide at the open and you can eat straight out of it or drop a big spoon in there for people to help themselves carries a lot of stuff you can just fill it up halfway. It keeps things cold or hot. I highly recommend it.

This thing is a beast! I fill it up with on monday … still has it by Thursday some times Friday depending on if I keep toping it off with fresh water that is warmer than the water inside the canteen.The mouth piece starts to get alittle off after so many off and ons but still hold a seal and water never leaks. Great product!
