Purple Possum Passion Fruit Plant - 4 Live Starter Plants - Passiflora Edulis - Edible Fruit Bearing Vine for The Patio and Garden

Did not think they were going to grow sr all but they are definitely growing, still no fruit but will revise this post when they start giving fruit

They came nicely packet and looking healthy ..all baby passion fruit plants resisted well the repotting. Passion fruit usually grows very fast so I placed near my lower fence and can't wait for the privacy it will give me. Plus they give stunning purple flowers when mature. Tips for effective, sustainable and cheap fertilizer: cinammon, just sprinkle near the roots. It works great for all my plants and flowers.

2 of the 4 plugs were basically dead but two were decent. I placed one in the greenhouse and one out back in part sun. They were all with misting watering systems and appropriate lighting. One has not grown much and the other didn’t make it past 2 months. It’s not easy to find established plants so I’m not sure if i got a bad batch. Did not get a reply from seller.

I'm excited to get this planted! It arrived nice looking- and is in its water bath now. The passion flower 'Possum Purple' is a strong, self-pollinating plant that produces sweet purple fruit and frilly-edged flowers. It can fruit in a 10-inch pot and needs support like a trellis or stake. This plant is especially vigorous during the summer months and can be grown in a hanging basket with some encouragement!

Plants are a lot smaller than I expected. They could have given instructions on how to plant or what to do with them in late fall season. Should they be planted in the ground or in temporary pots in potting soil until the spring. They do look healthy when they come in the mail.

Great little plants. All are still thriving after about 3 months in my yard. They are pretty small but are doing well. Came packaged well and secure.

The 4 small plants arrived in perfect condition. Planted all 4 in a large pot and they’re all thriving. Haven’t had them very long, but they seem to love the northeast Florida sunny weather. Early this I year I ate a lot of passion fruit in Fiji. I tried planting seeds, but none germinated. It will be a long wait if they survive and produce fruit. I hope it’s worth it!
