Herbal secrets raw cacao nibs 16 oz. Non gmo, gluten free, vegan, raw, made in USA. Expiration date 1/2026, over 2 years out. The container is large, as promised, white plastic with a green wrapper. Idk why this is advertised as a “powder supplement”. They are little nuggets. Typo maybe?There’s security seals inside and out. Two thumbs up for that. They smell wonderful! However, keep in mind these are RAW cacao with no added sugars so they taste very bitter. You can use them for drinks, smoothies, or baked goods but keep in mind to add some kind of sweetener.I’m glad to have found these. I’ve been looking for them everywhere but they don’t have them in my local stores. A lot of my thyroid-friendly or autoimmune friendly recipes call for them. I think the cost(15$) is fair for what you get but keep in mind I’m no expert in cacao pricing. Yes, I would recommend this product. Especially if you’re trying to eat healthier.

why waste so much material for nothing

Although the product page listing says that this is powder, it's not. This is a full pound of tiny organic cocoa nibs from Peru that have a wonderful chocolaty aroma and flavor. These cocoa nibs are unsweetened, so they taste like dark chocolate, but they aren't very bitter. They have a delightfully crunchy texture, and the deep chocolate flavor is so pleasing that I enjoy eating them as a snack right from the jar. They're rich in fiber and antioxidants, healthier than eating chocolate candy, and may have some health benefits too. Some people like to use cocoa nibs in smoothies or on top of their morning cereal for the added flavor and crunchy texture, but I like to use them instead of chocolate chips when making cookies (and snacking on them by the handful). I also like adding them to brownie mixes for the texture and the deeper chocolate flavor they add. I never imagined that I would enjoy unsweetened chocolate until I tried these cocoa nibs, and now I can't stop munching on them! Who knew they would be so good!

I ordered the Herbal Secrets Raw Cacao Nibs 16 Ounce Powder Supplement | Non-GMO | Gluten Free | Made in USA. This is 1 lb of organic cacao nibs. This is not powder and it is in little chunks if you have had the nibs before. It's a decently sized 1 lb plastic canister with a top which you can recycle or reuse for something else when you are done. People use this for so many different things, and I ordered it mainly for adding to smoothies, hot drinks, or just having plain. Some people do ceremonies with it. They taste fresh, and seem to be good quality to me compared to the other nibs I have had. I don't have any complaints, and this one pound container will last me a long time, thank you.

These raw cacao nibs are sourced in Peru and packed in the USA (though as I type this review the listing doesn’t mention Peru and I wish it had - ingredient sources are very important to me). The nibs are raw with no other ingredients, so they are quite bitter. I was surprised by how crunchy they are when eating them right out of the package! I personally can’t stand them plain, even though I absolutely love dark chocolate. They are good in my smoothies, and I also liked them mixed in my homemade brownie recipe (in moderation, haha). The nibs are smaller than regular chocolate chips but larger than thin shavings. I like that they are certified organic.

I got these to add a crunchy element on top of my chocolate mousse, or mixed into yogurt, or even sprinkled on my morning cereal. I love the little hit of chocolate bitterness as well. These are good size nibs, crunchy as I hoped. Seem good quality.
